Tess

"Did you hear something?" I asked, looking over Kitts shoulder confused.

"Shh, Tess," he whispered, rubbing the pad of his thumb over my bottom lip, sending me into a euphoric trance.

I looked up at him, his eyes pools of neon green, burning bright and blazing. He hovered above me, propping himself up on his elbows, lips swollen from kissing. He tensed his jaw, leaning in to find my lips again. His mouth was warm, wet and it sent electricity all through my body. But something wasn't right.

How did we get here?

"Kitt-" I tried to protest.

He pulled back smirking, "Relax, close your eyes," he instructed.

His voice was low, raspy and unbelievably enticing. I wanted to wrap my arms around his torso, pull him into me and never let go. He planted soft kisses on my neck, trailing down to my chest. A moan escaped me, and his eyes met mine. I bit my lip, urging him to continue. My heart raced and butterflies fluttered in my stomach. He obliged, stopping to tease me when he reached the top of the underwear. He traced circles on my exposed skin with tongue. The sensation of it all switched something inside me. I wanted more. Every time he touched me, it drew me into him. I looked down at him, his face hovering between my legs. A view I had never imagined before, but it pleased me greatly.

But how did we get here?

There it was, the sound again. A sort of buzzing, pulling me away from this moment, away from Kitt. I frowned, intrigued but frustrated. There was a strange necessity to find out what it was, but I didn't want this moment to end. Kitt planted a kiss at the top of my underwear and just as he leaned down further, closer, the tension almost undoing me, I woke.

My phone vibrated violently on my bedside table, knocking a picture frame onto the carpet. I bolted upright, chest heaving, gripping the sheets tight in my hands.

Holy shit.

I blinked, looking around the room disoriented and trying to understand why my underwear was damp. I ran a hand through my hair, trying to make out my surroundings in the dark. I was at home, in my room, in bed, alone... with no sign of Kitt.

Ugh.

I turned, ripping my phone off the charger and squinting at the screen, it was coming close to 3am.

Who the hell was calling me this late?

I looked at the caller ID, it was Brielle. Confused, I answered, putting the phone to my ear, rubbing my eyes sleepily.

"H-hello?"

"Tess oh my god. I-I didn't know if I should call. Jesus, Tess it's bad, it's really bad. I don't know what to do!" Brielle was crying, hysterically choking out her words.

My gut turned over at the sheer desperation in her voice and my mind reeled, I had never heard her like this before. A wave of dread rushed over me, bringing on a sick feeling deep in the pit of my stomach. I knew something was seriously wrong.

"Brielle, calm down. Take a deep breath," I attempted to level my voice, but it came out wavering and unsteady.

"Oh god Tess," she sobbed into the phone, voice trembling and inhaling sharply. "I'm at the hospital. I-I don't know what to do. We told him not to go, we told him not to go home but he didn't listen," she managed.
