21) The Truth.

     The bitter smell of medicines caught my nose. It was very disturbing in a way that I couldn't help but to force my eyes open. The bright lights striked my eyes so I immediately minimized the sight. After sometime, I begun wondering all over the room. A person was laying next to me while holding my hand firmly. I wanted to lift my other hand so as to touch that person but I felt a burning sensation on my shoulder. I had a huge bandage covering that area. On top of my hand was an injection pierced in my skin to connect the drip hanging above me. I felt very weak. I couldn't even speak.

The person laying next to me was sobbing silently while murmuring some words which I couldn't hear clearly. I could only hear the ringing sound of the life support machine next to me. Then suddenly, the door went open as the doctor and a nurse came in with a tray. The guy stood up immediately while facing them.

"Its ok Gulf..Relax,..You can touch him!" The doctor calmed him. He nodded then was turning to face me, I immediately closed my eyes. I pray he don't notice this. The doctor and the nurse came to inspect me while my baby was still holding my hand. 

"When will he awake doctor? It has been 2 weeks already and his condition is still the same!" Gulf complained.

"Let's be patient with him. He will soon be awake..." Doctor said.

"His progress is even much better now compared to the last week progress!" The nurse added.

Gulf sighed as the doctors went out. My baby sat next to me and was holding my cheek.

"You promised to take good care of yourself Phi...But look at u now!". Gulf sounded so hurt. Being  tittled as 'phi', melted my heart. I couldn't help it but smile!

"Wait!..What???!.....Did u just smile Phi!?" Gulf sounded very shocked but in a happy way. I decided to open my eyes very slowly. Gulf jumped away for a while. He couldn't believe his eyes I could tell.

"Yainong.." I weakly called him. 

"P'Meeeew!" My baby ran towards me and hugged me tightly.

"Mmh!" I complained. He immediately let go and covered his mouth with his two little hands.

"I'm sorry phi..I hurt your wound.." Gulf seemed so worried. I just nodded to reply. Tears of joy streamed down his eyes as he made plenty of calls to my friends and family to let them know about my progress. No sooner, the room was filled with all familiar faces.

    The first one to arrive was my mom. She cried while at the doorway to the room. She had no guts to look at me, she was just crying and Gulf was the one calming her. I had so much questions in me but I had no energy to ask any. I was just observing and smiling slightly. Only my baby was the lucky one to hear my weak little voice. After a while, other familiar faces arrived but in a couple.

"Tong with Techno. Boat with Green, and San with Jack? Oh my!!! Since when did they become officially a couple?" My thought wondered at San and Jack. They all came to me and were very happy to see me.

"We missed u man!" San started. Jack nodded like a little girl, silly!.

"Gufie accompanied you here every day and night.....Thank him later!". Techno spoke heartly.

"Gulf is surely a wife material!" Tong added. Techno looked at him with sharp eyes.

"Whaaat?!" Tong complained.

"I'll scold u later!" Techno threatened lowly but we could all hear😂.

"Welcome back Mew!" Boat spoke while Green smiled. Everyone looked happy. Then later my mom came in with the doctor while my baby brought his mom.
