The car ride was silent and awkward as we rode to school in his two seater Bugatti Churon."So- uh- how'd you end up with a car like this?", I asked to break the awkward silence thats been lingering since the moment we had this morning.
"Parents decided to spoil me when Cami left for America",he shrugs."Guess they felt bad your grades weren't good enough to get on the trip list", I tease.
"I've had other things to worry about", he rubs the tip of his nose with the tip of his thumb.He focuses on driving the rest of the time and we are left in uncomfortable but bearable silence with occasional glances.
"Here".
I grab my bag off the floor by my feet and open the door, well try to at least. "Let me out Niccoló", I say annoyed. "Just- just don't mix up with the wrong group".
"Whatever".
I unlock the door myself and walk out and into the huge parking lot of the huge Italian highschool.
"Who's that" "She rode with Niccoló to school? oh Virginia won't be happy" 'Virginia?', I questioned myself racking my brain to remeber a Virginia before I left.
"Nicco who is she?", a squeal came from a few feet away, I turn to look at the furious girl with auburn colored hair.
"Virginia it really doesn't matter who she is, she's a nobody",he glanced over at me, "She's just some pathetic American Cami brought home".
I was furious. Furious at the way I let him touch me this morning.Furious at the way he just lied to this 'Virginia' about who I was.
I stormed right up to the couple. "I'll have you know I'm not some pathetic American I just got moved on a trip to America where I decided to stay and spend a few years, and Niccoló if I'm such a nobody explain to your 'girlfriend' why you decided to stay and stare at my boobs this morning while I was trying to change".
I turned to look at the girl who had a furious expression and then I just simply walked away.
"Baby I promise it wasn't like that", was all I heard before I opened the doors of the school and walked in, the loud yells and slams of doors immediately blocking out the sound of Niccos and Virginias fight.
"Alexia?",I hear a loud whisper right in my ear. I jump at the sudden voice and whip around to see Carlo.
"CARLO", I practically scream as I immediately wrap him in a hug.
"Alexia what are you doing back here?", he asks after we pull back from the hug. "Well Cami actually convinced me to come back when she went on the trip to America".
We start walking together towards the gym to find Camila when suddenly Virginia walks up and starts walking with us.
"Um hello?", I question her. "Niccos being an ass right now and I normally walk with Carlo so I guess your just going to have to deal", she blubbers before going back to staring forewards.
"I've been meaning to talk to him actually where i-",before I even finish the sentence a hand pulls me into a classroom.They whip me around and I only get a good look at them when they push me against the door, trapping me between their arms.
Short chapter I know and yes I also know most sterotypical fantasy books have the pushed up against a wall or door type of thing in it but your just gonna have to deal bc I didn't have any other ideas.
