(August's Nieces!)

~August~

I waited for her to reply for what felt like forever.

"Bethany?"

She sighed, "Yeah?"

"I want you-"

"I heard you." She interrupted

"Sooo," I pulled on my chin hairs. "What'da ya say?"

She was silent for a while.

"Give me one good reason why I should move in with you August."

Because I love you and I want us to work.

"We bout ta have a child, B. I know I don' fucked up in tha past but I'm tryna make up fa all tha shit I put you through. Ion wanna bring my son inta this world with us not on good terms. Baybeh, I want us to work...For the baybeh."

She sighed again.

"August I-"

"Wait," I stopped her. "Can you come through?"

I don't want us having this conversation on the phone.

She laughed unexpectedly. "You make it sound like I'm a booty call."

"Nah, we jus' need to talk." I chuckled along with her.

"Okay. Give me half an hour."

"Aight, I'll send ya the address." I hung up and texted her the address.

I took a calming breath and ran my hands down my face.

Don't get caught up Aug, do it for your son.

I stood up to start getting everything ready.

It was time to do the right thing for once.

~Bethany~

After getting off the phone with August, I hopped in the shower.

Moving in?

We're not even dating!

I can barely stand him for two minutes...

But moving in together is a really big step.

I was still pissed at him about the doctor's appointment but I was glad he was at least trying to stay around for his son.

I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself to find what I'll wear.

I walked past my mirror and did a double take before letting my towel fall away from my body.

My breast had definetely gotten bigger and my hips wider.

I turned to the side and placed both of my hands on my stomach.

My thighs had also gotten thicker and my ankles had started to turn a slight pink color.

I sighed and rubbed circles around my stomach.

I smiled down as I feel a small kick.

My baby boy.

I finally got dressed in a loose sweater, work out tights, and my pink and black Nike's.

I tied my wet hair into a bun, grabbed my keys, phone, purse, and a snack, then walked to my car after locking up.

I looked down at my clock and saw I was already past my 30 minute limit.

I laughed to myself.

I turned the radio on to hear that Beyonce's Feelin' Myself was on.

I jammed all the way to August's house.

I finally found the address before pulling into this big ass driveway.

I called him to make sure this is really his house.

It didn't look the same at night.

"Yeah you here aight. Come inside." He hung up before I could reply.

I locked my car and walked up the stairs to knock on the door.

Before I could, it opened revealing three little girls.

"Hi!"

"Hiya!"

"Are you Uncle Aug's girlfriend?" They all said, giggling.

"Um..."

Thankfully, August saved me.

"Mya, Kay, and Chay," They all looked up at him innocently. "Getcha' butts upstairs and in them beds. Ya'll mama gon' get y'all in the mo'nin. I luh y'all, tho'."

"Yes Uncle Aug." The two younger ones said running upstairs. "Love you more!"

The oldest one winked at me and high fived August.

"She's pretty." She whispered and skipped upstairs. "Love ya, Unc."

"Sorry 'bout that." He rubbed the back of his neck.

Aw, so cute.

Wait...what..

Not now hormones.

"It's cool, I love kids." I smiled and he smiled back, revealing his dimple.

He finally broke eye contact and nodded his head towards the stairs.

"I got sum to show you."

I smiled and followed him upstairs.

We stopped at a closed door.

"Go ahead." He smirked.

"August, what is-"

"Jus open the damn door, Bethany!" He laughed.

I slowly turned the knob and pushed the door open.

The sight in front of me brought tears to my eyes and I looked at him in amazement.

"Aug..." I couldn't even finish.

"It's just a lil something." He shrugged.

"What is this for?" I turned to him.

He grabbed my hands.

"For a new start," He placed a hand on my stomach. "For our son."

"And for us."
