The Marauders Story

'' i'm lilly and this is severus.'' the girl with the flamming red hair newly named Lily announced. A silence followed where James "secretly" stared at Lily in awe. After a few minutes, Lily spoke up " do introduce yourselves!"

And so the introduction followed, James beamingly announcing his name, Sirius proudly stating his own, only first name though, it's not like he wanted them to think he was a purist. And then Remus mumbling his own into his book. Surprisingly enough Lily didn't even attempt to ask what Sirius' last name might be, but he was quite relieved at that.

Trying to keep the conversation at a steady pace, James decided to speak up, " since we, and he pointed at the three boys, never finished talking about houses why don't we continue where we left of,huh?" Remus was obviously not going to speak up so Sirius made it his responsibility," yeah so as i said my whole extended family has been in Slytherin so i might get sorted there but i personally would much rather prefer Gryffindor, Remus?"

Jeez was it Remus' turn to speak again? why always him? " i haven't really thought about it that much, i mean maybe Ravenclaw because i love books, i really don't know." He was actually starting to feel a bit more comfortable around his new so called "friends". Though his mother's words never quite left his mind.

He was pulled out of his thoughts when Lily spoke up " i don't really mind where i go, except for Slytherin right? No offense Sirius! James rudely interrupted. "None taken!"Sirius replied with hearty laugh.

For the first time the other boy, Severus, spoke " i wouldn't mind being in Slytherin actually,there not all bad." "Except they are aren't they, but hey if you want to turn out as a killer and purist, I'm not going to stop you!" Jame called with a smirk, he really was very cocky. " he's right not all Slytherin are bad ,James" Lily spits at him.

"Look look look, all I'm saying is that if he wants to throw his life away and hang out with pureblood purists and become all evil then its his choice and I'm not going to stop him, and you shouldn't either before he starts plotting murder against you." James voiced matter of factly and in some parts dramatically.

Lily scoffs grabs Severus' sleeve and says " Severus we're leaving , i don't want to stay in a compartment with such idiots!" And so she left and that was that. James let go of a small sigh followed closely by a breezy laugh "Girls huh, always so emotional."

The train ride went on and on filled with jokes, happiness, laughter and sweets until the train finally came to a stop and where able to get out.

Remus, for once, was truly happy and was able to forget about his alcoholic father and his mother who is so so broken and his want for live from her that she can't give him anymore.
He could forget about himself, the fact that he is a monster. He could forget about the periods of time where he just wouldn't eat because of stress or because his father made him believe he truly didn't deserve it. He could forget about all his worries in the world. And even though he knew it couldn't last forever it was amazing finally feeling happy and ok. So for the time that he had it he felt absolutely blissful.

Another filler yay, god my updating schedule is so fucked since it doesn't even exist :) unlike my sleep schedule which is even more fucked, you can probably tell because it's 3 IN THE FUCKING MORNING, Lilly works hard but insomnia works harder! i can't be bothered to proof read, I apologize.
