I don't even know at this point

After a really long time they could finally get off the train, it was quite exhausting spending so much time with such hyper people but Remus ended up enjoying myself more than he thought he could.

Theywere led to a black lake, maybe it was blue but it was so dark outside i couldn't tell. There were small boats that fit maybe seven small kids already waiting for them at the shore.

James Sirius and himself made sure to be in the same boat together but were also placed with a remaining boy who had obviously not made any new "acquaintances " as he liked to call it, since he looks small, scrawny and anxious probably just like Remus looked to James when he first entered the compartment, except for the fact that he was rather tall for his age.

James tried to speak to the scrawny guy and asked him who he is, he only got a very quiet mumble of something that nobody could catch. "Could you speak up? We don't bite!" James said with a genuinely friendly smile, Remus truly envies him for being so easily comfortable with talking to people and always knowing what to say.

The ride to the castle took longer than expected, but when first viewed, Hogwarts looks absolutely magical, quite literally, you could feel the magic vibrating off the walls from miles away, it was breathtaking and the lights made it look mysterious and mystical but beautiful and captivating as more of the dazzling lights flickered and Remus found himself holding his breath, like everyone around him. The silence was so terrifying and eerie that even the waves stopped going splish, Splosh and the wind stopped blowing and they were just bobbing on an open body of water.

He didn't want it to end but eventually, everyone got over it and kept chit-chattering about houses and the food and all kinds of insignificant topics that came to their uncultured minds.

Remus has a way with words you see, he always has. When he couldn't express anything on the outside he would read marvellous books and thus acquire such a vocabulary. he talks to himself and perfects his sentences with exquisite words like loquacious ( talking a lot, example: You are being very loquacious today.) or Profusely ( to a great degree/ a large amount, example: he asked for another book profusely.) he loved learning new words and would baffle grown-ups when he would use said words. He was scolded for reading and using such words by his father. It started when he was about 7 when, his father still cared.

After a few weeks, his father lost interest in his reading and language passion and started completely ignoring Remus. After 10 Remus stopped begging his father to talk to him, to even look at him. He stopped banging at his father's locked study or bedroom. He stopped shouting at his father for attention. He stopped being angry. He stopped crying himself to sleep because he thought it was his fault. He stopped wondering why. He stopped being angry. He stopped caring altogether.

He himself stayed silent and didn't even notice Sirius asking him a question. " hello, earth to Remus, he shouted waving a hand in front of his face, it felt very not-respecting-his-space but he punched out the memory of the times Lyall had hit Remus because he was so angry and remembered that Sirius doesn't know him and doesn't know about Remus's home life. He answered with a small grunt hoping Sirius would take the hint and kept staring into space.

But Black obviously didn't get that he was very uninterested in whatever topic they were talking about and continued talking to him. " So we were just saying how old we think Dumbledore is. What do you think?" What an easy question, had they not read "Hogwarts: A History"? Quite unamused he answered " he's approximately 90 or so "

Hi guy, i am so sorry that i haven't updates this in so long and i that when i do update (which happens basically never ) that the chapters are always so short. I've had lots going on with school and yes i am aware there were breaks but my mental health has been really bad lately so i couldn't really get to writing. Again I'm so so sorry please forgive me?? :)
