Silence was spread through the small hut. Only the noise of rain falling over the ground could be heard. Akshita was looking at his back as she felt words dying hearing all that he was telling her.
"Later completing graduation I started my start up business and there I met samaira. Samaira was my friend and helping hand but I never saw her more than that. I worked hard and established my own identity. One day, she proposed me but I rejected it as I never felt something like that for her. But she continuously told me for days how much she loved me. Then I thought maybe I should think about it but I needed to know her before reaching the conclusion. We spent so much time together, so I knew her. I thought maybe we would become compatible with each other but I don't know why I never felt anything for her. Whenever she used to come closer to me, I used to feel suffocated. But still I thought to make everything work. Bringing her here with me was all to inform my family that I really wanted divorce from you. I never wanted you and me to remain tied to a namesake marriage where there was nothing. Neither love nor understanding. I thought it would be better for both of us to break this marriage which we couldn't do when we were children. I knew you also had some aims in your life which you couldn't fulfill just because of our families. I never wanted to bind you in this namesake marriage. But then you weren't agreeing to divorce because of our families. So, I told everyone that I want to marry Sam, so that you can be free from this marriage but I don't know when I have fallen in love with you"
He completed his side and again only silence was there. Suddenly the rain stopped as he looked outside and walked away with a call for her.
"Let's go home!"
Akshita's trance broke as she collected herself and walked behind him. The whole way rudra was nowhere looking at her and just focusing on the road. She was peeping at him time to time, trying to have some words with him but failed. Soon they reached the Rathore mansion and rudra hurriedly walked upward to the room ignoring her voice.
"Rudra!" She for once felt a deep ache in her heart. After their conversation she truly want to talk with him but couldn't as he wasn't at that state. Does she lost him? Would he not love her after this? She really did late?
Disappointment was all she could have and with that went towards her room.
The scene didn't miss few eyes as they exchanged worried looks. They both understood that now interference was needed in their son and daughter-in-law's married life. They had suffered many tension now it's time to clear the mess and have a peaceful life.
When akshita reached the room, rudra was already laying on the couch. He didn't move a bit and pretended best of sleeping. She had tried to touch him but something stopped her. Subsiding the last ache of her heart she went to the bathroom for changing into dry clothes before sleeping.

"Book my tickets I will be there soon!" With this rudra hang up the call and put the file down. He sat for sometime before started the packing for his leave.
"Rudra? Are you going somewhere?" Rudra's mother came as she put the mug of coffee on his table and walked near him. "Maa, I have to deal with an important client and also it's been long since I have visited the office so it's necessary. I have to check how's the work going on there. Don't worry, I'll be back in few days."
"But why all of sudden. And how will you manage there alone? Who will look after your food and needs?" She said and rudra gave a blank look.
"You are saying as if I never lived alone? I have my own apartment maa and I will inform my cook to prepare for food everyday. Now please you go and tell papa that I'm leaving, I don't have much time." He told and went inside the closet to change himself.

"Dadu, please take care of your health. No ignorance with the medicine, everything should be on time." The oldest rathore groaned at his grandson's lectures but later hugged him, patting his back. Rudra then touched his feet and proceed further to his father. The son and father hugged each other and wished well beings.
"Don't worry jiji, I'll return very soon. Mehul and sakshi, both of you take care of my sister and also study well. I am going to search a school for you sakshi and mehul decide soon what you want to do, we both will go and take admission for you in whichever course you want." The niece and nephew hugged him with obeying smiles as he patted their head and proceeded to his car.
His eyes we're finding her but he let it happen, if she doesn't want then he won't force her from now. He would keep loving her but won't show any right. It was clear for him now that if any day she asked for divorce then he would happily sign the papers. He would keep loving her and will never let anyother enter his life. As with these thoughts he kept the luggage inside the car and was about to sit when a slight view of hers got stuck into his eyes. His heart swelled with pain on how would he handle the immense amount of pain that's going to cause after she left. Till yesterday he was hell bend to win her back but after the night he got to know that she would never be his again. He has broken something to never join again.
"Akshita will go with you."
His trance broke as his mother voiced it out and then he saw the bag in akshita's hand. She was wearing a pastel pink coloured saree and minimal jewellery with her mangalsutra. Rudra felt his breathe cut off for a few second after seeing her but he immediately stabled himself and proceed with what his mother told.
"What?" He showed the shock and looked at akshita. "Maa, I'm going there for few days and what will akshu do there?"
"Yeah I know you are there for few days that's why I am sending her with you. You both haven't gone anywhere alone after marriage so take it as a advantage and spend some time together. You can stay there for as many days you want." She talked some logic but it didn't reach him. He looked at akshita and gestured her. "You don't have to come with me at maa's insist. Maa, we would next tome__"
His words were reminded half by her statement as all of them looked at her happily except him. As he was shocked and wasn't expecting it all of sudden. "I want to come with you."
He couldn't say more after that as mehul kept akshita's luggage inside and she went to sit in the car. His gaze was fix on her, at the sudden change. Without arguing more he just sat inside and soon the driver took them from there.
After a long silence she peeped towards his side and found him looking outside the windows with the earbuds in his ear. She tried to form some words but failed miserably. Her thoughts were running towards the night which they spent in the hotel before she found him with samaira. That time there was a hope in her heart that their relationship was blooming but again some hurdle came pushing them both where they were before. "Rudra!" She took his name but there wasn't any response from him as he was listening songs and his face was to the opposite. But as if he had heard her he turned to her side.
"Did you say something?"
She just shook her head and he sighed with disappointment. He was expecting her to say something but alas she didn't. He closed the eyes and slept for a while untill they reached the airport. While akshita whole time was stealing gazes on him.
