Your P.O.V:
Well, we are here. My mom and dad talked for a bit with my uncle, just to catch on with life.
"Hey there, (y/n)?" I turned around to see my cousin Wendy.
"Hey Wendy."
"I thought you were never coming back after you broke our promise" Wendy told me.
"Yeah about that are you mad?"
"Of course I am it's been 3 years! I'm just kidding, why will I?"
I Laughed a bit to show Wendy that I understood what she tried to do. "Wendy! Show (y/n) where she will sleep this summer!" I heard my uncle say in a loud voice.
"Bye dear, we wish you the best." "Thanks mom and step... I mean dad." I saw my mom and stepdad leave. "Well follow me (y/n)!" I followed Wendy. She took me to her room instead of taking me to my old room. "This is where you will sleep now. Sorry we kinda needed your room for my little brother."
"It's fine."
"Hey (y/n) I thought your dad left you and your mom the last time you where here at Gravity Falls" Wendy asked me. "Yeah he did. When we went back home, mom started dating this guy then they got married" I answered.
"Oh, nice to know. Do you still see your dad?"
"Yes I do, just not when mom and stepdad are home."
"Not to be mean but he has always been away from your mom a lot. Anyways why do you call your stepdad dad when around them?"
"My mom Doesn't like it when I call him like that."
We took a break from catching up on things and had dinner, took a shower and put our pajamas on.
"(Y/n) so I was thinking your 13, maybe you can come with me tomorrow to the Mystery Shack. There's some kids that you might become good friends with. There just one year younger than you." "Yeah, sure. Goodnight Wendy."
"Goodnight" she answered.
I went to the bed in the corner of her room. I kept thinking to myself two specific things. Will those 12 year olds like me or will they laugh at my personality like everyone else does. The other being that, Wendy was right. Mom loved dad but she will also tell me that there will be a day when they will no longer be together. We weren't really together as a whole family when we came to Gravity Falls every summer. Mom told me that dad had told her a horrible secret. After that they weren't together. Dad told me everything but I accepted him for who he was. With that I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.
