A day dream away

“Well, do you want to know what you’re having?” The lady asked. 

I looked at Tony and Lights, they both nodded. “Yes!” 

“Well, Congratulations, You’re having twins! One boy and one girl!” 

My face dropped. 

Twins. Double the trouble. 

Tonys face was glowing with excitement, I was excited too. 

“IM GONNA BE AN AUNT.” Lights yelled kissing my cheek. 

I laughed and wiped the cold gel off my stomach and left the building. 

“Im so excited!” Tony said on the way to the car. 

“I can tell, your face is glowing still!” I laughed. 

We dropped off Lights back at home and decided to go get some food. 

“Whatcha want my lady?” Tony asked turning out of Lights’s driveway. 

“Well, Im craving subway like crazy.” I said rubbing my stomach. 

“Subway it is then!” 

We pulled up to the drive thru and he already knew what I wanted without asking me. 

When we got home I rushed inside ready to eat my food. 

“Ughhhh this is so good.” I moaned stuffing my face. 

“That’s what she said.” Tony muttered walking into the room. 

I slapped his arm and smiled. “Shut up.” 

He leaned over and kissed me. “Ew, you got food on my lip babe.” 

“Sorry.” I grinned. 

Tony and I were cuddled up on the couch when his phone started ringing. 

I sighed. “Are you fucking kidding me.”

“Im sorry babe. I gotta take this.”  He said and walked out of the room.

It was Mike. Vic was in the hospital. 

“Okay okay calm down, what happened?” 

He was yelling now. “I DON’T KNOW TONY, GET YOUR ASS UP HERE.” 

I hung up and walked back into the living room, Adrienne was going to be pissed. 

“Babe, we need to go to the hospital.”

She let out a hard breath of air. “Why?!” 

I slipped on my shoes and handed Adrienne hers too. “Vics in the hospital.” 

Her eyes widened with panic. “Shit! Let’s go!”

We walked into the hospital almost running. Adrienne was holding her baby bump trying to keep up. 

“Over here!” Mike yelled from the room in the corner. 

We rushed in there to see Vic laying there white and motionless. 

“What happened?”  I asked again. 

“They said that he had fallen and hit his head hard enough to knock him out cold.” Mike said pushing his hair back. 

“He’s going to be okay, right?” Adrienne asked getting emotional. 

Mike laughed. “Yes, he’s going to be fine.” 

We all stayed the night waiting for him to wake up.  This was going to be the longest night of anxiously waiting and hoping.
