jimin's pov
a person walked on the stage toward the bowl. "good afternoon omegas. as you guys may already know. this is now to the death. who ever gets chosen here. might not live." he said and started explaining the rules to us that is the same. "okay now to the new rules. mated pairs are not to be put in... mate couples must report if they find each other or else they will have to kill each other. those odds are very low though. cheating will be a death penalty. that's it for new rules. let's just choose the name." he said and he walk to the bowl. he rustles the small papers inside. we had to write our names and put in the bowl just so they know for a fact the it's in there. he pulls out a slip. he slowly makes his way to the mic. the pit in my stomach slowly getting worse. "the omega chosen for this first deadly match...." the name he said made me freeze in my spot. "park jimin?" he said. i could see my dad's face just look crushed. he would be losing another family member. it was like the whole world was froze. my only chance at living is to be an archery challenge. i slowly made my way to the front but i guess i was too slow because soldiers were pushing me to move faster. every omega that i passed gave me a pity look. i stood next to the man on the stage. "how many votes did you have in?" he asked. i didn't say anything. i just felt like crying. "hello?" he said waving his hand in front of me face. a tear slips from my eyes and i could hear my dads cries. "do you know him." he asked sadly.
"my dad." i said quietly.
"oh man. how many votes did he have."
"5." i said still quietly.
"how many did you have." he asked again.
"just one." i said and he was silent. he looked at the guards to see if i was lying. he looked at me shook.
"wow you're luck really sucks." he said and more tears fall. a soldier came over and started pulling me away. i was pushed into a room. my dad rushes in only to stop when he saw my hugging my legs in a ball in the corner. it been something i've been doing since i had my first nightmare. which was when i was five. my dad walked forward and pulled my onto his lap. even though i was muck bigger then from when i was five.
"we have 5 minutes together." he said and i just cried into his shoulder. he spent the 5 minutes just holding me like it was going to be the last time.
time skip.
i'm about to meet to other competitors. "park jimin, omega." a people on the speaker said. i walked forward as instrusted. i couldn't see but i was terrified. "kim jiwoo, beta." all i could do was just listen. this was just a thing to see if our mates were here. they blindfolded us to heighten our sense of smell. i sniffed the air. i shook my head. oh did i mention that a lie detector was strapped to me. "soo gon-shi, alpha." i sniffed the air. a beta and a alpha meets my nose. i shake my head. i assume they did the same. "jung sugil, beta." the same. no mate. "kim sooyung. beta." no mate. a buzz went off, causing me to get startles. i placed my hand on my chest. "that's a penalty point." the speaker said. soon the tenth was anounced. i'm the only omega so it can't be an omega. 3 beta's were already called and only 4 alphas were called. so this had to be the last alpha. "jeon jungkook, alpha." the steps to my left was loud. confident even. more confident then the other alphas. i heard smiffing and i do the same. i raised my hand. a vinilla pineish scent hitting my nose. i felt a hand grab me. my blind fold was taken off. a man beside also with his hand up. they took off his blind fold and i just melted into his overpowering scent. buzz went off as a girls hand lifted up. i saw her get shocked but she took it like a champ. she must of been an alpha. the man came over to me and sniffed me. i blushed as his scent got stronger with every step he took. "do you wish to continue with the challenge. once your out. you type loses the chance to have royalty. i felt crushed. i'm the only omega. if i quit. we live poorly again. my dad would live poorly again.
