Four // Subway

Emma's P.O.V
I sat down at a table with the girls, while the boys went to order for us.

"So what's up? What did I miss?" I wondered.

"Well, I started dating Shawn, and-" Bri started.

"What?! Oh hell naw! He's still one of my celebrity crushes!" I interrupted. "But I guess I can make an exception for youuu."

"I'm dating Taylor," Celia announced.

"I'm dating Cameron," Andrea said.

"And I'm dating Hayes!" Sarah told me.

"But me and Nick broke up a few months ago," Emily mumbled.

"But ya'll have been dating since 7th grade!" I whined.

"I broke up with Jake. It was a few weeks after you left," Kayla informed me.

"Sorry about that guys," I apologized.

"Do you still dance?" Sarah wondered, breaking the awkward silence.

"That's actually why I'm here! I plan on dancing for a long time, so I came out here to have better opportunities," I explained to them.

The boys came back, and set our sandwitches down. While we were eating, I could see Hannah and Matt, constantly gazing at eachother, while Gilinsky and Jaycee were staring at eachother.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom," Sarah said as she stood up.

"Yeah, I'm gonna go too," Luke sighed.

They both walked to the bathroom, leaving everyone else here to talk.

"Sooo," Hayes started.

"What happened to the queen of bitches after I left?" I wondered.

Hayes knew that I was talking about Lacey.

"She got pregnant at a party, when we were 15. So she quit school in our sophomore year to take care of her baby, and I haven't seen her since then."

"Who's the father?"

"It's actually a funny story," He began.

"It isn't you, right?" I asked nervously.

He started coughing really loudly, unable to stop.

"I think I just choked on air," He managed to say. "The baby's father was Jack Larson."

Now I was the one who was choking on air.

"WHAT?!" I gasped. "Why does she always like the guys that I've dated?"

"I don't know, but it was kinda funny, because everyone was suspecting it," Hayes laughed.

"Yeah, I was talking to Jack, and he kept ranting about how that was one of the biggest mistakes of his life!" Kayla spoke up.

"Nice job, Jack," I giggled to myself.

We continued to talk about our highschool lives, while the others talked about their college lives. After about 30 minutes, I interrupted them.

"Where are Sarah and Luke? They should be out by now!"

I stood up, and walked to the bathrooms, expecting to see nothing weird. But what I saw, was worse than weird. Hayes' girlfriend, and my future boyfriend, were just kissing.

"W-What is this?" I stuttered.

They pulled away from eachother, revealing their non-guilty faces. In fact, I think I saw Luke smirk. I could feel the tears in my eyes, so I quickly turned around, and walked back to the table.
