CHAPTER FOURTEEN

It’s been a week since he has left the Denmark ,kids were missing him badly specially misha but nandini was confused she cant’t forgive him easily for his deeds but there was a part of her  heart which was ready to give him another chance ,in hospital she saw a woman who was pregnant and her husband was taking really good care of her

“ plz  do something I can’t take the pain “ she cried

“ relax baby everything gonna be alright I am with you…” he tried to console her on not getting another way he cupped her face and asked her to look in his eyes “ baby you know na I love you so much…” he said making her forget all the pain seeing all this her eyes became teary

Nandini pov

I wish manik you would be there when I needed you the most now I can’t forgive you …

“ hey darling looking gorgeous …” said manik on video call

“ say something new dad ,I already know this btw I miss you soooooo much when will you come back to meet me??” asked misha ,well after that day she started calling him dad when they are alone ,
nandini has no idea about it

“ well I miss you too but this time you have to come here and btw where is your grumpy bro…” asked manik getting a glare from her

“ come on he is not that bad and he is busy in playing video game which you gave to him…” they talk for a while then manik told her that he has to go for an important meeting so he will talk to her later

“ okay bye dad take  care and don’t wear that black classy shirt of yours try something different this time wear white one it suits you perfectly and yeah stay far away from your  sticky secretary I don’t like her much, and yaah have something before going out don’t you dare to skip your meals okay ??” he just nodded

After coming back from Denmark one thing changed for him ,he got his daughter back
He use to be happy and cheerful whenever he talk to her ,ayaansh didn’t talk to him much but still they are in contact and about nandini so he use to keep all the details about her but never talked to her because he promised her to give her time to think,here cabir was again came back on his cupid mode but didn’t disclose about it to anyone

Fab 4 were having dinner when manik came down and sat beside cabir
“ hello guys good morning…” greet manik to everyone  ,seeing him like that was really shocking for everyone except cabir ,

“ well navya do you remember about the gift which you gave me before going to Denmark…..??”asked cabir

“ hey matarani cabir don’t you dare to tell me that you haven’t saw it yet ,I mean how can you be so careless do you know that was not only a gift it has a message for you….” Navya started scolding cabir but there was one person who remembers about something

Manik pov

Before we drifted apart nandini also gave me a gift ,what it could be ?? a message ?? no but …
What if ,damm where did I kept it ?? I have to find it at any cost …
When I met karan he said that nandini and her husband aren’t together but I am damm sure she is not married but then husband and ayaansh and misha ?? I know they are my kids but husband ?? all these things are becoming so complicated day by day…..
I have to find that gift anyhow…..

But before that I have to attend the meeting ,as per misha’s instructions he wore white shirt which is the favorite color of her as well  as of her mother ,thinking about her  a small smile appear on his lips,he set his blazer and enter inside the conference hall having his famous smirk as expected his secretary stared her showing off session which he simply ignored ,after cracking the deal he went inside his cabin to complete the pending work on getting a call he became exited thinking about it might be misha’s call but alas it was his business client’s call ,after cutting the call he saw the wallpaper of his phone screen which has the picture of four of them (misha,ayaansh ,nandini and manik) which he took before coming back from Denmark

Manik pov

Misha told me that she will call me after returning back from the school ,why she didn’t call me yet I hope she must be fine

On not getting any message or call from her he became worried at last he thought to call her himself on the 5th ring she picked up the call
“ hello…” on hearing her voice manik take a deep breath on not getting any response from his side she cut the call………..

“ misha do you have any friend from India ??” asked nandini while folding their clothes

“ why mom ??” she asked being shocked

“ a call came from there but when I picked up the call nobody replied to me so…” she said making her take the breath of relief

“ yeah a friend whom I met in music concert” she quickly covered it by saying this before nandini could talk further a call came,misha quickly thank aiyappa for saving her….

Well bhai you didn’t introduced me with abeer and kaira that’s not fair “ she complained on which he promised her that soon he will introduced them to her

“ cabir sir…..manik sir met with an accident….” On hearing that phone slips from her hands ,she tried to call back cabir and navya but their phone was unreachable now she became really worried for him
