Hi there. Before you opened this, I'm pretty sure you've already guessed that this is an Ethan Dolan fanfiction. 1.) I hope you enjoy and 2.) This beginning part has cheerleading in it and I know almost nothing about it, so if I make any mistakes on it, please forgive me, I'm not too big of a fan of cheerleading. I'd also like to say that I give credit to BookWorm4Ever26 because I got the idea of the plot from her "book ideas," book. :) anyways, enough talk from me.. I hope you enjoy this fanfic! ^-^

- Chance -

"Mary!" I shout down the hallway trying to get her attention. She turns around amd faces me with a smile.

"Hey, Chance," Mary greets me as I approach her, "What's up?"

"I was just wondering what we were going to be doing in practice today," I ask, "I forgot my stuff at home, so during 8th period I'm going to drive home and get whatever I need. I just want to know so I can be more comfortably dressed for whatever we are doing or for whatever I have to teach some of the girls."

Mary nods her head as I'm talking.

"I'll be teaching the bases how to properly hold a girl up, while you will be showing the stunts how to comfortably stand and what to do while up in the air." Mary explains.

I nod my head in agreement, "Alright then. I'll see you later at practice then." I wave goodbye and walk off to my first period class.

Finally my free 8th period has come by and I can drive home to get what I need for practice.

"Hey, can I go with you?" A male voice asks from behind me.

I was confused at first, then I turn around to see Ethan Dolan. Seeing Ethan caused even more confusion within me.

Ethan and I aren't exactly on good terms, at least that's the way I see it. For as long as I can remember, Ethan has always been one to poke fun at me. I've never been fond of that, or him, so I try to keep away from him. Ethan can be a jerk, which amazes me because his twin brother, Grayson, is such a sweetheart.

I roll my eyes, "Why would you, Ethan Dolan, want to come over to Chance Silvers' house?"

"So I can go watch you change into your cute little uniform." Ethan suggests towards me. Did I forget to mention how much of a pervert he can be as well?

I scoff, "How about no." I turn around and walk away from him. This boy drives me nuts sometimes.

I finally make it back right before practice starts.

"Chance!" I see Mary walking towards me.

"Hey," I say, "What's up?"

"I just wanted to let you know that I kind of changed practice up a bit," Mary smiles.

"How so?" I ask.

"It's not a big change," Mary says, noticing my concerned look, "After I teach the bases what they need to do, they're going to practice catching you after throwing you in the air."

I sigh in relief, "Oh, I thought this was something huge happening. Alright, all I'm doing is flying today. No biggie."

"Okay, you're good with it. Now, please lead the girls in stretches today, I have to run off to the bathroom real quick!" Mary says, doing a bit of the "I gotta pee," dance.

I laugh as she runs off in a hurry towards the bathroom.

"Alright, ladies, let's start with our stretches to get this practice started." I say, clapping my hands together to get all the girls attention.

As a good ten minutes rolls by, we're finally done with our stretches. Mary takes the bases, while I take anyone who wants to try to be a flyer.

"Any questions before I get started?" I ask as the few girls stand in front of me.

This freshman, Avery, raises her hand, "Um, is it hard to be a flyer?"

"Very good question, and to answer that, it depends," I start, "When it comes to being a flyer, you have to have a lot of trust that your bases will catch you. It's basically all about trust. You also can't hold back from doing so. Obviously once you've committed, you have to go all for it."

All the girls nod at my little speech that I give them.

"Chance, are you ready to have these girls practice?" Mary shouts towards me.

"Yes," I give Mary a thumbs up.

"Now, just watch what I do and pay very close attention. Pay attention whether I "per-fect" it or if I make a mistake. It's all about learning right now."

I walk over to the few girls who were practicing on being bases. They seemed nervous at first, but I gave them a reassuring smile to let them know that they're going to be okay.

- Ethan -

Football practice had just got out and I'm waiting up for Grayson and Ryan. We had just finished changing, and I swear, these two always take their precious time.

"Ethan, wait up!" Ryan says as him and Grayson are running towards me.

"Can you guys take long enough?" I ask, with a slight hint of annoyance.

Grayson and Ryan just wave off my attitude and make our way home. As we're walking, we pass by the cheerleading practice.

"Wow," Ryan gawks.

"I know, Chance looks good." I say as I'm watching her as we walk by.

"Do you like her or something, because I never specified on who I was basically drooling over?" Ryan says.

"What? No. Chance so isn't my type, she's just really good looking." I say, a smirk plastering on my face.

As the three of us are walking by, I notice about four girls, more or less, are picking Chance up into the air. I'm watching and suddenly Chance flies into the air. I'm rather in awe at this happening.

"Hey, looking good up there, Chance!" I shout.

A few girls had looked my direction, and I immediately regretted ever shouting towards them.

The girls who looked my way weren't paying attention to their practice and Chance fell to the ground.

"Oh my gosh!" I say as I'm running towards Chance.

"Damn, my ankle!!" Chance shouts and grabs at her ankle.

"Let me help you." I say as I approach her on the ground.

She shoots me a glare and I immediately back away, "As if you've done enough help, this is all your fault!" I can tell that Chance is fighting the tears as she's yelling at me. I felt terrible for what I did. Now I know that I have to make this right.
