LAYLA
MONDAY
I was presently in my room watching "She's in love with a gangstar". I had told mum I was having a headache so she asked me to skip school so basically I was the only one at home.
I yawned when the movie finished then carried my phone.
Mikayla had sent me a text calling me a sly bitch. She wasn't wrong cause the main reason I avoided school was because of Finlay. I knew I can't avoid him for long but now that my big mouth had blurted the truth out I was scared of what he would think of me.
I sent Mikayla a text saying I was sorry and suddenly the doorbell rang. I stood up from the bean bag I was sitting on.

"Coming." I yelled then ran out of my room.
I opened the door only to be met face to well chest with Finlay.
I stood there speechlessly then remembered I looked awful.
I was only in my Minnie mouse pajamas and my hair was messy, my mouth had little drool and I was wearing flip flops.

"Coming." I said then slammed the door on his face.
I ran back to my room, washed my face, brushed my hair but stayed in my pajamas like that.
I went back down then opened the door only to see Finlay standing with a confused gaze written on his face.

"Now come in." I ushered him in.

"Nice pajamas." He smirked at my Minnie mouse pajamas making my face flush.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you meant to be at school?" I asked.
He sat down on the couch then glanced at me as I sat next to him but leaving a little bit of space.

"Aren't you meant to be at school?" He shot back.

"Good point." I said. "Now what are you doing here?"

"I was worried when you didn't show up and I snuck out to visit you." He explained softly, a worried gaze on his face.

"And I came to talk about yesterday." He added.

"No no no." I stopped him.

"We're not talking about yesterday. It was a mistake just forget it and let's act like nothing happened." I said. He sighed but dropped the issue anyways

"Now let's go watch something since you're here." I said.

"I've graduated to the room now. I didn't know you wanted to do me that fast." He smirked making me roll my eyes.

"The only thing I want to do is to hit your face on the wall." I fired making him frown.

"And Layla's back." He muttered then stood up.
I stood up too and we walked towards my bedroom.
*~*
"Princess." A voice whispered shaking me softly.
I groaned then turned to the side hoping the person would leave but he or she doesn't take hints.

"I'm leaving now." The voice whispered again.
My eyes shot open and I came face to face with Finlay.

"You're leaving." I murmured sleepily, rubbing my eyes.
He nodded then turned to leave but I grabbed his hands.

"Stay please." I whispered.
He looked at me for a while before sighing.
He got into the bed then wounded his hands round my waist.
Wait when did I get on the bed? Wasn't I on the bean bag watching a movie with Finlay?

Finlay must have seen my confusion because he said "I carried you. I didn't think you would be comfortable on the bean bag so I brought you to the bed."
I smiled softly. You see it's this character that makes me love him the more.
Hold up did I just say love?

"- so what do you say?" I heard Finlay ask.

"Huh?" I asked.

"I asked if you would huh." He stopped then rubbed the back of his neck.

"You wanna go to the arcade with me tomorrow." He added.
Is this dude leading me on?

"Yeah sure." I said absent mindedly closing my eyes.
