Chapter 4: Some Time

I walk into Roscoes and walk up to the bar.

I give the bartender 10 dollars I found in the building in the cemetery. I try my best to ask without sounding like I woke up from being dead but I seem to fail a bit.

"May I have a glass of water" my voice croaked at the end. The bartender nodded and gave me a confused glance but shrugged it off.

He sets it down and I chug it, he hands me another one and I chug it down as well he hands me one more and I slowly drink that one. I give him a nod in thanks and turn to look around. I don't see anyone I recognize but then I hear the doors open I see Marcel walk in.

I see him sit down in a corner and a waiter pours him a drink.

I slowly get up and slip out of the door and head to the last place that was home. The compound.

I walk in and look around to see know one around I shrug and head up to my room. I slowly open it and look around. All my stuff was stuff here there was not a spec of dust that could be found.

I go into my closet and pull out a dress. I grab a towel as well and go into the shower. I pull off my dirty clothes and I slowly step in. I put my head under and let the water drip down my face I get soap and start cleaning myself up.

I turn the water off and grab the towel and wrap it around myself. I hear a noise but chose to ignore it I start getting dressed and I brush out my hair. I hear another noise and I roll my eyes opening my door to see what it was.

I see Davina storming inside with a complaining Kol followed by Elijah, Marcel and Klaus.

"What's with all the noise?" I question no longer having hoarse throat but my accent completely coming out.

They all snap their heads into my direction. Know one moves or does a thing for a few seconds until Davina quickly pulls me into a hug.

"After I was resurrected I spent any moment trying to get you back, but after a while the hope seemed to be gone..." she trails off sadly.

"What happened to you Love?" Klaus asks.

"Uh what's the word uhm it's very difficult to explain but uhm I'm not originally from here." I explain.

I move to sit down and continue on. "My previous life was a lot simpler. My name was Lilly Martin, I was abandoned at the age of 3 I was left on the streets to fend for myself. I died when I was 15 I was hit by a car and I woke in a dark room. There was a shadow like thing there. It offered me a chance to live again so I took it. I was reborn as Azariah Deveraux originally I'm not supposed to exist.

There was only supposed to be four harvest girls not five. And although I was reborn the day the harvest was supposed to originally be. But when I got sacrificed I woke up today how long has it been?" I question

"It's been 15 years" Davina says slowly.

My mouth opens and closes.

"What..." my voice cracks.

"What's happened recently?" I demand.

"Where's Hayley?" I question.

"She's dead." Klaus says with a sad expression.

"No I was supposed to save her, no..." a few tears fall down my face.

"What about your child?" I question

"Hopes safe shes with Freya whom I assume you know of?" Klaus questions.

I nod I go up to him and give him a tight hug.

"I'm so sorry." I say

He squeezes me back with a little pressure.

I pull away and stare at him.

"I won't fail you again I promise I will make sure you won't die this time!" I state

He looks alarmed and confused.

"I will die before Hope loses you again I wasn't able to save Hayley but I will save you, as well as Elijah." I say with determination.

"Wait, what are you talking about?" Marcel questions confused.

"Originally a month after Hayley dies Klaus and Elijah are supposed to die." I revile.

I look up and see all their shocked expressions.

Klaus speaks up, "So my daughter grows up to never have a family." He says with tears in his eyes.

"Not on my watch." I say determined.
I look at Klaus for a minute until I look away and walk off planning my next moves.
