Castiel observed the different racks of clothes in the store. They had been in 4 stores by now, and all they had gotten was a toothbrush, a towel, 2 t-shirts, and 3 shirts.
That's it.
If they kept going at this rate, Castiel would end up with no pants. Not that Dean would mind...
Dean frantically tapped his foot on the floor as Castiel ran his hand through the fabric of a sweater.
Dean rolled his eyes, "I'm never going shopping with you ever again. You're the pickiest bastard I've ever gone shopping with and I've gone with Sammy to buy hair products multiple times, and even he isn't that picky."
"I just don't want to buy clothes that I don't like," Castiel replied "What if I get something, and I don't end up wearing it? That would just be a waste of money." He placed the sweater he was mildly interested in back on the rack after checking its price tag.
Dean huffed. He turned his head around to see the flannels hanging from a rack. He tapped Castiel's shoulder, trying to get his attention, and then pointed towards the flannels. Castiel immediately shook his head.
"C'mon dude, flannels are freaking awesome!"
"What if I look stupid in them?"
"You won't," Dean grabbed Castiel's hand and pulled him towards the flannels. He checked a few of them out before taking a blue one, a black one, a green one, and a brown one out of the racks. "Here, try these."
"Dean - "
"Pleaseeee." Dean joined his hands together.
Castiel rolled his eyes, "Fine. I'll try them." He said as he walked towards the changing room. Dean handed him one of the t-shirts they had gotten at a previous store. It was a plain black t-shirt.
Castiel closed the door behind him as Dean waited for him outside.
Dean's phone buzzed in his pocket, and he took it out to see who the message was from.
Sam.
He unlocked the pattern on his screen to see what the message was.
Hey, Dean. Ik ik, I just left. But I just wanted to check up on u, seeing as how we didn't get to finish our conversation from earlier. Call me when ur free k?
A small smile crept over Dean's face. He was very lucky to have a brother who actually cared about him.
"Okay."
Just as he texted Sam back, the door opened. Dean looked up from his phone and his jaw dropped.
"Dude you look so freaking awesome!"
Castiel nervously rubbed the back of his neck, "I don't look stupid?"
"Hell no! Okay, so we're definitely buying all of those flannels. Now all we need to get you are some pajamas and jeans."
"Don't you think the jeans in this shop are too costly?"
"I know, and I also know that you won't buy them. That's why we're gonna buy all those things from another store."
Castiel smiled, "I really appreciate you doing all these things for me, Dean."
Dean blushed while fidgeting with the phone in his hand, "Yeah, yeah."
Dean went towards the counter and paid for the flannels before he and Castiel got out of the store. They had 4 shopping bags with them, each holding 2. Before they could continue to walk their way to another store, Castiel paused. He stared at Dean's hand for a few seconds, as if contemplating a thought, then he sighed and intertwined his fingers with Dean's.
