KONOHAGAKURE

The Kyuubi rampaged through the village, destroying everything in its path. The illusions of the Sharingan clouded its eyes, and its claws slashed buildings apart. Who were they to fight the nine-tails? Of course, that's an obvious answer, but it wasn't the village who answered, but rather the 4th Hokage, Minato Namikaze.

The nine-tails intending to destroy the village, charges up a bijuudama and fires it, but Minato sends it away using the guiding thunder, one of his signature techniques. Afterward, he was sneak attacked. However, noticing it at the last second, he tried stabbing a kunai into the man, but it only went through as if there was nothing there. He grabbed Minato's arm and warped. Minato escaped using teleportation, but the masked man followed.

Minato stood up and stared at the man "A shinobi who outmaneuvered the Anbu assigned under lord third's direct control... Who slipped through a top-secret barrier and knew the seal would weaken during childbirth. I know of only one shinobi capable of doing that."

They stood still, staring at each other, Minato deep in thought. "Are you Madara Uchiha? No, that's impossible. He's dead." The man removed his hood, showing his hair and neck. "Who knows?" Minato scoffed at his response. "It doesn't matter who you are, but why attack the village?" He stared at him, eyebrows lowered with a deep voice. "Well, let's just say it's on a whim, for war, but for peace as well..." The masked man revealed his chains, and Minato moved his leg back and placed his kunai in front of himself, entering his battle stance. "Now that I freed the kyuubi, you people are hopeless!" They charged, and The Hokage pointed his kunai at him, aiming for his chest, but again, it was like nothing was there, and Minato was met with the man's chains. He teleported again, analyzed his opponent, and gripped his kunai tightly. "His flesh... My physical attacks do not affect him, but he materializes to attack me. Namely, I can only aim for him when we both strike blows... But his risk lies during the moment of attack, and considering the time remaining on the Nine Tails' summoning jutsu, he doesn't relish a long battle either. The one who attacks an instant faster than the other will win this match!"

MEANWHILE SOMEWHERE NEARBY

The kyuubi's roars, the screaming. That's all this creature heard. It only wanted to sleep peacefully, enjoying the cool weather and the sounds the animals made before the attack. That was until a bijuudama was sent toward it, and It jerked awake and failed to dodge it, taking it all on. It felt the intense burning and sheer power coming from the bijuudama, leaving it staring into the abyss with wide eyes.

It narrowed its eyes and saw the Kyuubi. Thinking the attack had come from him, it roared into the sky and approached Konoha.

"SKREEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK!" The creature made its presence known. The Kyuubi stopped its rampage and stood tall, looking around, its ears high and its hackles raised. The world is in silence... Then, it was grabbed by the creature and tossed away.

It had a bipedal stance, with legs resembling those of the Kyuubi, standing on its toes. Its long tail was adorned with dorsal spines running from the tip to the head. With its muscular arms, sharp claws, and powerful jaws equipped with razor-sharp teeth, it was a formidable creature.

All shinobi present watched in awe as this thing threw the legendary fox, this same one getting up and growling, eyeing its new enemy, ears held up and back.

Hiruzen exclaimed in disbelief, "One tail?! That's not it. Its chakra is different and weaker. But..." Suddenly, a rumbling sound interrupted him. The spines lit up one by one, and the low sound grew louder and higher. Hiruzen furrowed his brow and narrowed his eyes as the beast opened its mouth, and bright blue rings appeared in front of the creature. The fox regained consciousness, and the Sharingan faded from its eyes. It could barely see what was about to attack it... Let alone dodge it. The rings contracted rapidly, and a beam came out of the beast's mouth, and the Kyuubi received it to its full extent...
