The night was still in the city of Affluen-City. 18-year old Crusher yawned as he carried his 5-year old baby girl to bed.

"Come on, Hanna. Time to sleep."

["Okay, Papa,"] Hanna signed. ["Can you and Mama read me a book tonight?"]

"Of course. Anything for my little girl," Crusher chuckled. "Pickle!"

"Yes, hon?" 16-year old Pickle drove into the room.

"Hanna wants us to read a book for her,"

"Aww, sure, baby girl!" Pickle giggled and kissed her cheek. "What book do you want to read?"

Suddenly, it sounded as if the house was being torn apart, and Crusher's family burst through the door, ready to kill.

"Hello, brother~" Dynama wickedly cackled.

"Dynama..." Crusher growled. "What do you all want?"

"Oh, just to kill you is all," Krisha smirked as she and Calvin pointed their loaded guns at them, and Dynama prepared her magic.

"And there's no one to save you now," Dynama added. "So, we get to take all this in quickly and blistfully."

As they moved forward, the two braced themselves and their daughter for impact, when suddenly...

"STOP!!!"

Crusher's family stopped dead in their tracks, and Crusher was the first to open his eyes and see a red and yellow truck, glowing brightly as his flame, and his blue eyes burning with fury.

"Take a step away from them, or else!" Blaze snarled.

"Pfft... or else wha--" Krisha couldn't even end her sentence when she suddenly felt herself coughing as Blaze's eyes narrowed.

Like... her life was slipping away.

"Or else your husband and daughter won't like what's about to come next."

"Oh, is that how you wanna play it?" Dynama shrieked, pointing her own magic at him, but before she could have chance to strike, Blaze blasted her tire with a white ball of light, dissolving the black magic immediately. "W-What?!"

While the family was still in shock, Blaze looked at the family behind him, his eyes becoming gentler as he still kept his powers on him.

"Are you three okay?"

"Uh... y-yeah, we're fine," Pickle stammered, but he nodded nonetheless.

"Good. Take your daughter and get out of here-- go someplace safe. I'll keep them at bay for as long as I can."

"Uh... okay. Thank you," Crusher said, still a little shocked, but they managed to climb out the back window and into the night before Blaze turned to the family, who were still shocked by what he did to them.

"Now, I'm going to count to three, and if I get to three and you don't promise to leave them alone... I'm sending you to meet your maker."

"Ha!" Krisha scoffed. "You can do tha--"

"Wanna bet?" Blaze sneered, eyes burning with fire.

"Um... dear?" Calvin gulped. "Maybe we should just go."

"NO!! I came here to kill, and I'm not going to--"

But before Krisha could finish, Blaze clutched his tire tighter, making them all gasp for air.

"Countdown begins now. One... two..."

"All right, FINE!!" Krisha huffed, putting their guns away. "We'll never touch them again! Just let us go!!"

"Fine," Blaze said. "But mark my words, you better not go anywhere near them, or I WILL come back and take you to Satan."

"Hey! Death is my thing, weirdo!" Dynama huffed up. "No matter what you say, I will always--"

"I suggest you better pipe down and leave with your parents before I sent fire out of the sky to burn you all to a crisp," Blaze sneered.

He knew he couldn't do that, but the way Calvin and Krisha screamed and dragged Dynama away, they seemed to believe it.

Blaze sighed in relief as soon as he realized they were gone. "Now... to check on Past Pickle and Past Crusher."

He drove off, following the couple's life force. Once he arrived in the abandoned cabin in the woods where they were hiding, he smiled.

"Are you guys okay?"

"Yes!" Pickle nodded before bowing. "Thank you for saving us, whoever you are!"

"Yes, thank you," Crusher bowed as well tearfully as he held Hanna in his tires. "Things would've gone bad if you didn't show up,"

"Um... are you okay, little one?" Blaze asked Hanna sweetly.

["Uh huh,"] Hanna nodded as she signed. ["Thank you."]

"You're welcome. Crusher, I've come to understand your daughter was born blind and mute. I wanna help heal her, if you're willing."

"You… You can heal her?" Crusher's eyes widened. "R-Really?"

"Of course. Can I see her?"

Crusher nodded and gently brought her closer towards Blaze. Hanna raised her tires to the sky, trying to find where the magical truck is. Blaze smiled and gently took her tires before his whole body gave a glow. The magic slowly made it's way towards the little girl, who closed her eyes as the magic surrounded her. When she opened her eyes, she gasped.

"Me can see! Me can talk!"

"Oh, baby girl!" Pickle hugged Hanna tenderly.

"Mama! Me can see you!" Hanna giggled.

"Thank you..." Crusher said. "I don't know what to say!"

"Just have a happy life," Blaze smiled and began to fade away until he had disappeared.

Crusher watched as he disappeared, wondering to himself.

Who was that guy?

X

Blaze groaned as he woke up and found himself in his 17-year old body. He sighed in relief and slumped back on his bed.

"I'm back! Oh... I hope it worked..." He yawned as he stared up at the moon. "I hope this time… things will be better…"
