As I open my eyes, I stare above, trying to let my eyes adjust to the darkness. I turn my head to the side, only to hit something hard. I let out a yelp and bring my right hand up to rub at my head. I use my other hand to push against the wall and attempt to get up.

My first couple attempts only landed me right back on the hard cold ground causing an excruciating pain in my head and stomach. Finally getting to a sitting position, I sit for a second, attempting to look around again but the darkness is preventing me from seeing anything.

"Hello?" I yell into the darkness and when I only get silence back as an answer, I once again use my hands to get myself to a standing position. I let myself take a minute to get my balance right before sliding my hand against the wall, slowly following it.  I keep following the wall, using my hands to guide me but after a few minutes of walking, my hand reaches the end of the wall, causing me to start to fall but I managed to catch myself with my hands.

I look up at the opening, squinting my eyes against the darkness when I see a little dim light flicker at the end of the dark opening. I reach my hands out to find the wall and allow it to lead me to that little source of light. The closer I get to it, the more I realize it's a candle.

Without questioning why there's a candle just sitting there, I pick it up and start to look around. The first thing I see as I turn is a large damp staircase and the dark doorway I must've passed through to get here. I take one long look at the doorway before moving towards the stairs.

I take my time climbing the stairs, the pain in my stomach getting worse with each step, but I don't stop until I reach the top. As soon as I get to the top, I see a large door right in front of me. Curiosity gets the best of me, when I slowly move to the small opening in the door and glance inside.

My breath catches at what I see on the other side of the door. There are huge green creatures with two white horns sticking out of their heads. They have large hands and some of them have red eyes while the others eyes are just black. There are dead animals all over the tables and I catch myself gagging as one of the creatures puts a whole dead fox in his mouth.

I watch them for a couple seconds before I feel my head start to get dizzy and the pain in my side feels excruciating. The last thing I see before everything goes dark and my head hit the ground once again, is all of those creatures turning to stare at me.
