I stare up at them in complete disbelief, trying to comprehend what they just told me. They all remain quiet, waiting for me to say something, probably hoping I won't scream again, I silently laugh to myself at that thought, the fear slowly diminishing.

"What do I call you?" I finally reply back, my voice soft, I'm slightly worried too soft they can't hear me, but with how big their ears are they could probably hear a mouse.

"I'm Olardian, but you are welcome to call me Olard." The leader reaches out his hand again and I shake it, a small smile forming at my lips. I look around at the other trolls calling out their names all at once. I can't deny how amazingly magical this is.

The three trolls surrounding Olardian step forward as well, the first one has a purple bow on one of the horns, I'm assuming she's the only girl since none of the other trolls have one.

"My name is Marian, but call me Maria please." She gently pulls me into a hug, I stand still, shocked at how affectionate she's being but also not complaining because it's rare I've ever hugged anyone...except her...my best friend. The one everyone thinks I killed. I shake away the thoughts and focus on the GammaTrolls.

The other looking troll of the other two gently grabbed my hand when Marian stepped back and kissed it. "Mine is Fredian." I smile at him and turn towards the final troll of the three.

He's a younger looking troll, with a big cross bow attached at his side. "Livian, milady." He bows to me and I feel my cheeks get hot from how formal they're all being. They step back and join the group again and I take a long look at them all. How is this even real? Maybe I just hit my head too hard, I think to myself, trying to come up with an explanation for this craziness.

"You know who I am?" I finally say, remembering what I overheard them talk about.

"Do you, miss?" Fredian replies back to my question quickly, catching me slightly off guard. The troll tenses as the leader Olardian gives him a stern look.

"My name is Madi. I'm eleven. That's all I know." I say back, trying to hold my head up high as I look at them, them staring back at me. My heart starts to race as I watch them all glance at each other.

"There's more to it, Milady." Livian says to me gently, looking at his leader for approval to continue speaking, Olardian gently shakes his head no and I see Livian back down from what it is he wanted to say.

"Please tell me... I'm not too young to understand... Just try." I pleaded with them, surprising myself at how desperate I sound. They couldn't possibly understand how much I wanted to know more about myself. Where I came from, who I am. I don't even know if I have parents. I've been alone my whole life with no love or affection. I don't know how it's possible they know me but the least I could do is listen to what they have to say with an open mind.

"Madi, you are the daughter of Nathaniel, the Demon Leader of the Arcturians. He was a very good friend of mine for a long time until..." Olardian begins but slowly stops, looking in the distance with a sad expression on his face. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"Who is he? Where is he...?" I ask him, the curiosity getting the better of me. He gently takes my hand and holds it.

"He was taken away to a prison far away from here." My eyes widen, a prison? Isn't that where bad people go to be locked away so they can't hurt anyone else in the world? Was my father a bad man?

"Why was he taken away? Did he hurt someone?" I ask curiously, worried, wanting to know every detail they have hiding in their memories. Olardian goes quiet and I see Marian tense and look at Fredian. I stare at them, trying to be patient as they try to figure out how to tell me whatever it is they say they know about me. Finally someone speaks up but I don't think I was prepared for what's to come.

"Your father is a Demon. Not just a Demon but he was the leader. He fell in love with a mortal, your mother. When she became pregnant with you, no one in the other world was prepared for the chaos that would bring. There has always been a rule, we can not mess with the mortals, especially in the way your father did. When you were born, we took you and hid you away at the group home so none of the Demons could find you. The law of the Arcturians state it's forbidden to have a relationship with a mortal. Your father broke that law, he caused a rift between the worlds by creating you, Madilyne Rae."
