Chapter 1

Lindsay’s POV

Today was the day that my four friends were coming over to celebrate how I am now living on my own and how I got accepted into college.  I feel so old.  I’m the oldest out of my friends.  I’m 19.  My friends are 16, 17, 18, and 17.  They are throwing me the party.

I’m not the most attractive one out of us.  I haven’t had a boyfriend since I was a freshman.  I wouldn’t blame them.  I’m not the most beautiful. A surprise I have blonde hair and blue eyes. Don’t boys look for that in a girl?

*Buzz…Buzz…Buzz…*

I wake up to hearing my alarm clock going Cray (Crazy. Lol  just wanted to put cray) with my eyes still closed and with no effort of waking up, I smack the alarm clock ‘till I hit the snooze button.  Instead of hitting the snooze button I hit the radio which made me jump when it played the Beatles really loud. I finally make the effort to get up.  I roll out of bed and get dressed in my favorite blue Hollister shirt paired with my worn out white shorts.

I walk downstairs to grab some breakfast.  I look through my cabinets and my fridge hoping to see something good. Finally after I see that I have basically nothing. I decide to go out since I had to go run some errands anyway.

As I look at my keys I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket.

I got a text from my best friend Kameron we’re basically like sisters. She’s 17.  She has black wavy hair, and always has food in her hand.  That’s one of the reasons why I love her, she doesn’t think to much of herself or what other people think she lives life out of the fullest. Or what she would say “Look at the chicken wing as Yah there’s more not AHH I only have one bite left.”

“Hey! Can’t wait till tonight!! Xx” I read as I pick up the phone.

I reply back, “Me either! I’m going out to eat for breakfast because I have nothing in the fridge, Mind to join??xx”

“Okay I’ll be ready in 10. See you later!!xx

I put my phone back in my pocket and I grab my keys a second time, I grab my purse and head out the door to my car.
