The survey corps superiors along with Nile bid their goodbye to Y/N.
It's already night and all of them needs to leave already.

When Y/N's visitors already left, she went back to the mess hall but no one's there anymore.

She left the mess hall and went to her favorite spot.

The lake.

Y/N smiled when she saw Jean and Marco talking while taking a dip in the lake. Both of the guys are shirtless, of course they have their shorts on.

"What is this? Having fun without me, huh?" Y/N said with a fake frown.

Jean and Marco looked at her.

"Y/N, are you okay? I mean, how was meeting your visitors?" Marco asked.

"Those two who were with instructor Shadis earlier, were survey corps soldier, right? What did they need from you?" Jean asked.

Y/N smiled and walked towards them. She removed her cardigan and skirt. She left her shirt and undershorts on.

She was about to jumped off the water but Jean pulled her hand, making her scream as she fell on the water.

Jean and Marco laughed at her when she got water on her ears and nose. She coughed many times while both of her eyes are shut.

Out of annoyance, Y/N splashed water to Jean making him laugh as well as Marco.

The trio played in the lake. They kept on splashing water to each other until they got tired and eventually stopped.

They went out of the lake and sat on the dry ground. Marco covered Y/N with her jacket so she will not feel cold.

The trio looked up at the night sky. There's no moon but there's a lot of stars. The shining stars added beauty to the dark night sky.

"Jean, Marco. I have something to tell you." Y/N said.

The two boys looked at her. "What is it?" Jean asked.

Y/N let out a deep sigh. "Earlier, I met my father. We talked about a lot of things. He explained everything and apologized for his mistakes. I have decided to forgive him. I don't want to keep a burden of hatred and disappointment feeling to myself."
Y/N said.

Jean and Marco nod their headd and smiled. Marco gently patted Y/N's head.

"That's good, Y/N. At least now you're burdens were lessen." Marco said.

Y/N smiled a bit. "My father is Erwin Smith. The 13th commander of the survey coprs."

Y/N's revelation about her father shocked the two. Jean stood up and looked at her with wide eyes while Marco stiffened on his place and staring at Y/N with eyes-wide too.

"Huh?!" Jean said.

"W-what?" Marco said.

Y/N laughed and nod her head. "I'm telling the truth. Erwin Smith is my father. I've known him for a long time already, but earlier was the first time I met him." Y/N said.

Jean and Marco still can't believe that Y/N's father is the commander of the survey corps. Jean sat down again.

"So, now what?" Jean asked.

Y/N let out a deep sigh. "He asked me to join the survey corps. I agreed to it because he said he'll help me about my mother's death. And. I also want to get close to him." Jean and Marco became silent upon Y/N's answer.
