A sudden knock on Erwin's door interrupted him from doing hiz paperworks.

"Name and business?" Erwin asked without tearing his eyes apart from the report he's proofreading.

"It's Levi."

Levi didn't even wait for Erwin to give him the permission to come in. The captain just opened the door and walked in. Erwin didn't look at him and just continued doing his work.

Erwin don't need to look at him. He already knows what expression Levi has.

He's either frowning or bored.

"Oi, Erwin. Hange said that thr woman you're looking for has no documents in the capital. Just ask Nile again."

What Levi said made Erwin stop working. He looked at him with his thick brows furrowed.

"What do you mean she has no documents in the capital? I heard she's living in wall Sina somewhere in Orvud district. That's impossible." Erwin said.

Levi hissed and shook his head.

"I don't know. You know the MPS are strict with identities of the citizen especially those who are living in the interior." Levi said, he sat down on the sofa and crossed his legs and arms.

Erwin let out a deep sigh and put all of his his paperworks at the side. He already finished half of it. He thought that he can just do it later.

For now, he has something else to do.

He has to look for her. It's been a long time since thy  last saw each other. They were still trainees when they last talked. He wonders where she is now?

Where's Y/N's mother now?

Where are you now, (name)? Erwin thought to himself.

"Why are you looking for her anyway? Who is she?" Levi asked Erwin. His gray-blue eyes looks bored as usual.

Erwin stood up and grabbed her survey corps jacket. "She's someone special." Erwin said which made Levi raised one brow.

"Huh? Never knew you have someone you like."

Erwin just ignored his comment. "I'll go to the interior again. Do you want to come?" Erwin asked.

Levi nod and stood up. "Fine. I'm bored anyway." He said and stood up.

Both of the men left the room. On their way out of the SC building, they encountered Hange and Miche. The two also joined Erwin in going to the interior.

"Why are you looking for her, Erwin? I thought you and (name) were not in good terms after she left the training corps without a word?" Miche asked.

The four of them are now inside a carriage on the way to Stohess district. Erwin looked outside through the window.

"Honestly, I don't know why I'm suddenly looking for her. I just feel like I need to. These past few nights, I've been dreaming of our past." Erwin said completely being honest.

Levi cringed. "Ugh. I think I'm gonna get chills." Levi said and rolled his eyes.

Hange laughed. "Hahaha! It's not always Erwin talks like this. You really love her, eh?.It's your fault why you two are not together. If you weren't a jerk to her, you two should've been married for a long time now and maybe have a lot of children." Hange said.

Erwin furrowed his brows. He crossed his arms over his chest.

Exactly. But I know having family does fit me. Especially I don't have assurance that I'll live long. I'm a survey corps soldier and commander that goes outside the walls and fight the titans. Every expedition, I don't know if I'll survive. So why would I have a family? When anytime I might just leave them because I died on a mission. Erwin thought to himself.
