Levi's brows are furrowed while he focuses his vision on their way. His horse galloping in a fast pace. The captain feels anxious. He wants to be there for Y/N when she gives birth and he wants to see his little brat when they come out from Y/N's belly.

He just wants to be there and that's the reason why he's rushing.

Four months.

He's been very busy for four months because in those four months, the survey corps have been going on an expedition inside the area of wall Maria. And he can only go home whenever he's free.

It can be any day or anytime but even if he comes home, he needs to go back immediately. If he's not occupied slaughtering titans, he's occupied with his his stack of paperworks.

He already feels shitty for not being always there for Y/N. And he thinks that if he ever don't make it in the right time, he'll feel like a total shit.

I need to be there for her. I need to be there the moment my child comes out.

Levi thought.

"We're almost in Orvud, captain." Jean said.

Levi just nod his head. He made his horse gallop even more faster. They took a shortcut on the way to Y/N's farm. And in just a few minutes, the survey corps veterans arrived at Y/N's farmhouse. Levi quickly hopped off from his horse, and ran towards their house. Hange and the Levi squad followed behind him.

As soon as he arrived inside their house, there is no people in the living room but they heard noises upstairs. Hange, Levi and his squad quickly made their way upstairs.

He saw Nile and Hitch waiting in front of his and Y/N's room.

"Nile!" Levi called the commander of the MPB. Nile and Hitch looked at Levi. They sighed in relief upon seeing Y/N's husband.

Levi ran towards the two. "Where is she?" Levi asked.

Nile tapped his shoulder. "Inside your room. Still in labor." Nile said.

Levi sighed in relief. "I guess I arrived at the right time." Levi said.

The door opened and Marie showed up. "Is Levi here?!" Marie asked.

"I'm here." Levi said.

Marie smiled. "Thank God!" Marie said. He pulled Levi inside the room.

Levi froze on his place upon seeing
Y/N lying in their bed, whining and crying becauze of pain. He eventually came back to his senses and quickly made his way to Y/N. He sat beside
Y/N and held her hand.

"Hey, I'm here." Levi said.

Y/N slowly opened her eyes. Her tired icy blue eyes stared at Levi. Y/N's breathing is heavy and she's sweating a lot. She managed to flash a weak smile to Levi. "T-thank you for being here." Y/N said in a low voice.

Levi nod. He planted a soft kiss to
Y/N's forehead and squeezed her hand. "It's okay. I'm here now." Levi said and wiped Y/N's tears.

There are two more people in the room. The mid-wife and her assistant. They're already preparing for Y/N's delivery of her baby.

Marie is gently massaging Y/N's arms, legs and stomach to make her relax. While Levi is wiping off Y/N's sweats.

"Arrrgghhh." Y/N groaned upon feeling a painful cramps and pressure on her stomach and abdomen. "T-the baby's coming out!" Y/N said.

Levi panicked a bit but Marie told her to calm down. The mid-wife crouched in between Y/N's legs. A blanket is covering her lower body.

"It's time." The mid-wife said.
