Judging Criteria

How It Works:

Judges, please be aware that if you are accepted as a judge for a category you will be working with 2 others. There will be 6 entries per genre and 3 judges per category. Each judge will be responsible for 3 entries of the category and will have to pick 1 out of the 3 to place in the final decisions. Once you have made your decision, you will share your results with the other judges and all together will you decide what place holdings the entries will have. Afterwards you will submit the final winnings to the community.

If our explanation was confusing, here's an example of what we're talking about . . .

Riley, Lloyd, and Nathaniel are all accepted as the judges for the category, "Christmas Eve." There's 6 entries in the category and the curator of the Awards splits the entries between each of them. After following the Judging Criteria, Riley, Nathaniel, and Lloyd all pick 1 book out of the 3 they were each given. They then went into the UWC's Discord/Instagram and shared their results with each other. After a while they all agreed on the final place holdings of the category. Nathaniel's book will be in 1st Place, Riley's in 2nd, and Lloyd's in 3rd. After finalizing, they sent their results to the community and were finally done.
