The hospital was boring,bland,depressing.

A few months back you'd start having sleepless nights,it turned into sleepless weeks you were like a doll,you barley moved,ate,drank, spoke,but of course you still kept your high spirits for him.

It happened slowly but it felt so quick,aku had noticed the change in your mood and then came the dark eye bags, yes you had to work late a lot and didn't get much sleep but they were really dark much darker than any he had seen before.He had insisted you two go to the doctor to check what was happening to you and you were diagnosed with Fatal familial insomnia (FFI),you were told that it was rare and of course you were really 'lucky' and had gotten it.

You eventually were put in the hospital so that the doctors could keep and eye on you,Akutagawa came to visit everyday and sometimes he'd even stay over night,he'd bring you things you liked and always talked to you about things were getting on in the mafia;and you always listened,it's not like you had anything else to listen to anyway.

After it started becoming hard for you to talk, akutagawa would bring a note pad and pen so you two could communicate,soon after that you couldn't move anymore, the tubes that were feeding you were the only things keeping you from death.Akutagawa was very patient,very surprisingly,through the whole process.

You and akutagawa were sitting in your hospital bed,he was holding you laying his head on yours,your frail body caged between his arms,he wanted to Spend all his time with you because he knew you could leave him at anytime. "You know [name],I won't love anyone else the same I love you" his voice was hushed,his statement broke your heart because you felt yourself slipping away by the second, all you did was lay there that's all you could do really.

Your breath started becoming softer,you felt yourself become heavy, " I love you [name], forever", his eyes started becoming wet,he didn't want you to go just yet.

You left him with no warning,and he was angry but not at you,at himself
