Partner in Crime (Female Chara X Male Reader)

Chapter One: Freedom

Four years.  Four years since Frisk freed the monsters.  You were laying in your bed, sleeping.

You wake up hearing a constant loop of beeps.  You groan and look at your alarm.  It was 9:14 AM.  You panicked, knowing school started at 8:00.  You jump out of bed, throwing your (F/C) blanket on the floor with your body.  You immediately rush to your dresser to pull out your (F/C) (C/I), along with your (O/F/C) pants and throw them on.

You swing your door open, running down the stairs saying curse words under your breath.  When you got downstairs, you go to the bathroom to brush your teeth.  After that, you realize you left your backpack in your room, so you run upstairs and grab it.  You run out the door and sprint to school.

You finally make it to school, your hair messier now since you forgot to brush it and the wind running through it from running.  You were out of breath.  Panting, you walked to the front doors of the school and opened it.  

You grabbed a late slip and went to the classroom.  You give the slip to your teacher, Undyne, and she says...

"You just missed the test we had."

"That's just amazing, isn't it?" You say sarcastically, as you go to sit down.

"Sure, if you want it to be" She retaliates.

Half of the class laughs at you, while the other half just stares at you.

You then sit down at your spot. 

A girl with a green shirt with a yellow stripe sitting next to you says...

"Nice job, idiot." She chuckles.

You don't know why but you chuckled too.

"What's your name?" You ask.

"Chara, what about you?"

"I'm Y/N.  Nice to meet you, Chara"

"Shut up, idiot"

You figured that was your new nickname Chara had given you, so you let it play out.

You rushed through the test and before you knew it, the class was over.  You left with chara and It turns out you two have that class together as well.

Chara's POV

That Y/N kid is kinda cute...  WAIT CHARA WHAT THE FUCK YOU LITERALLY JUST MET HIM!

I went to my next class and guess who i sit by?

Y/N.

I sat down at my desk and stared at Y/N for a while.  He noticed me and said..

"Chara?  You ok?"

I suddenly snapped back to reality and Butchered all of my words.  All of them.

"I- uh- uhm-  Yeah, o-f course i am, i-idiot!"

He just laughed at me.  What was so funny about that?  I don't get it..

No POV

You and Chara just talked until class ended.  You and Chara walked to lunch, and grabbed your trays.  You both sat down and you just stared at her.

"Y/N?"

You didn't respond.

"Y/N!"

You suddenly snapped back to reality.  You both seemed to get lost in each others gazes.

"Uh- H-hm?" You say, completely confused.

"The fuck were you looking at?"

"Not you." You said with an attitude.

"Feisty aren't we~?  I like that.." She says in a swoony tone.

Then the recess bell rang.  You and chara walked outside, and next thing you know, Frisk approaches you.

"Aww, look at you two~...  So cute!" Frisk says.

Before you could say anything, Chara spoke for you.

"Shut up, loner.  At least i have someone to talk to."

"I have plenty to talk to.  After all..  I did save all the monsters."

"Doesn't make you that much cooler." Chara says as she walks away.

Frisk snaps and a few guys pop out of nowhere.  Frisk than says..

"Get them."

One of them come walking towards you and they throw a punch, but you dodged it at the last second.
You look back to see Chara dealing with the other two grunts, and nearly forget you were also being attacked, that is, until you felt a stinging pain in your cheek.

"Y-Y/N!!!"

Chara looked back in fear.  You now had a bloody nose.

"Deal with yourself.  You have your own problems.  Don't worry about me." You say, grunting and panting in between some of the words.

The grunt throws another punch and you grab their hand, twist their arm and knee him in the gut.  He goes off running out.

"HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Frisk says as she throws her arms up.

Now it was you, Chara and the remaining two grunts.  They both target you, mostly because you took out one of their friends. 

They threw a punch at you and almost hit you.  You grabbed their hands and threw them opposite ways, making them punch each other in the face.

Chara sits back and watches as you beat the other two.

You eventually get them to run off.  You walk over to Chara and smile, nose still bloody.  She notices and points it out.

"Nice job, I've always wanted a fighter.."

"E-excuse me!?" You say, as red as a tomato.

"Uh- I didn't say anything!" She says, also blushing.

(Time skip to after school)

You walk out and start walking home.  Chara catches up and says..

"What's your number?"

You give her your phone number and you two go your separate ways.  You look at the sky and then the buildings that surround you.  You think to yourself how free you are.  Besides the fight you just had, you realized you were free.  Free to do anything.  Not everything, but you understand.  You realized you had all the freedom you could ever want.

Freedom.
