I'm already on my way mom- I reply boredly, finishing my hair and heading to the car where my mom and my two brothers Amy and Nick are waiting for me to go on a trip. As soon as I get in the car, I'm bombarded with complaints about my tardiness coming from my mother and brothers. 'Lily you're always late,' Amy says and Nick nods in agreement.
you who are in a hurry, I was just finishing drying my hair- I defend myself as I roll my eyes, but soon receive a scolding look from my mother, since she hates my craze that I don't even know who I pulled from. We've been in the car for almost an hour and a half on our way to some place where no one tells me what it is and why we're on our way to it. -Why are we stopping? - I ask when I see the speed of the vehicle decrease, removing my headphones
-Let's stop going to the bathroom and buy something to eat, I would know if I was listening to what we were saying instead of listening to music so loud - complains Amy again, what does this girl have in today??
-girl, what do you have in today?, my god just complains- I roll my eyes as I release my thoughts already taking my hand to the car lock unlocking the same and leaving right away without an ounce of desire to hear amy complaining more one time. I love Amy, it's obvious she's my sister, but sometimes this project of people has a power to get me angry. It's amazing how different Amy and Nick are, I don't say physically as they both have dark hair, white skin that perfectly highlights their freckles and rosy cheeks. I mean the personality of both. Nick is reserved and introverted, he would easily trade a night of partying with friends to stay at home reading a book or playing video games, I don't judgehim as he would do exactly the same as my younger brother. Already Amy is extremely outgoing and lively, always making friends with everyone. This girl speaks more than her mouth. I don't doubt that one day her tongue will fall out from her talk. Amy doesn't stop at home even though she is only 8 years old, unlike her twin brother . Amy is always at a friend's house or making new ones in the park across from our house in the Westview suburbs.
I enter the market\ mall being followed by my mother and my brothers.
-Lily can get some snacks, I think about 3 each and 4 cans of coke to eat when we get hungry again until we reach our destination- says my mother. My mother has long hair halfway down her back, equally dark, barely black like my brothers. My mother is sweet and gentle, but when she's angry she's worse than a beast. She always gives her best in everything she does and is always trying to help others, not introvert, but she's not an extrovert either, I think it depends on the occasion.
- Yes, but could you tell me where we are going? - I say impatient for no one to tell me where we are going and why we are going knowing that I hate that things are hidden from me,
- be patient, you'll know soon - she answers, completely ignoring my frustration, but since I'm not in the right mind to argue, the effect of sleepless nights due to nightmares, which coincidentally is always the same, me in a completely white room, with no furniture and nothing, just the voice of a mysterious woman saying things like "come to me" or "I need you with me", and that for some reason makes mewake up scared and with my room mysteriously messed up, like broken lamp, furniture in different positions which I left and my belongings scattered around the room. When I told this to Mom, she said that the dreams can be just a coincidence and the mess my brothers caused, but they denied it and I believe in them since I have the habit of sleep with the bedroom door locked. After I told my mother about what happened, she started acting strangely and in less than a week I booked this trip without giving any explanation to me or my brothers, I didn't question it and just went ahead following her with this idea as well as my brothers .
Aff- I just grunt and snort in response to the brunette in front of me and I follow my way to the refrigerated sector in search of our drinks and then following to the snack sector getting our snacks then going to meet my family finding them in front of the door. a restaurant that was inside the market\ mall, apparently they are just waiting for me. After lunch we return to the car towards the mysterious destination chosen by my mother.
