Chapter 3: Training Begins

We all finally made it to HQ, and as soon as we arrived there the commander paired each one of us with a partner that we are to share a room with. You were paired with Mikasa, which you were hoping for since you knew her the most out of everyone.

"Alright cadets once you have settled into your rooms, meet me in the mess hall and I will discuss your schedule" Erwin says to us.

You quickly go to your quarters and put your stuff down

"I'll just organize all this later" you say to myself

"Oh hey Mikasa"

"Hey (Y/N)"

"What spots would you like to take?"

"Doesn't matter to me (Y/N)"

"Ok, well I'll take the top bunk and top drawer"

"Ok" she says in response

You quickly get changed into your uniform and walk down to the mess hall with Mikasa. Mikasa and you walk over to where Eren, Armin, Jean, Connie, and Sasha are and sit down.

"Alright, I trust that all cadets are here now. To begin with thank you all for joining us today, I hope you all will exceptional in the survey corps. I wanted to discuss with all of you what things will be like around here, and what I expect from all of you."

You listen very closely to what he has to say as you want to be sure you do everything right.

"Firts off everybody, you will be up by 6 a.m. and at the mess hall, from there after breakfast you will listen to the announcements for the day and do exactly as you are told. That is all. Today all you are doing is getting acquainted and settled in, tomorrow training begins. Am I understood!"

"Yes Sir!!" Everyone yells

"Good, you all are dismissed"

You and everyone get up and leave the mess hall, and you and Mikasa head to your quarters.

"Well I think being here won't be too bad, you think so too Mikasa?"

"Yeah, maybe. Only time will tell"

"Yeah true"

You finally started to unpack your things and neatly put everything away. Once you finished you made your bed and layed down.

"I'm gonna take a quick nap ok, wake me up when it's dinner time ok Mikasa"

"Okay" she replies

You were quite tired, and since today was a chill day you thought you might as well take this chance while you have it. Soon your eyes became very heavy and I dozed off.

You noticed you were somewhere, but...

" Wait why am I here?"

It was my old house, but why? Was everything just a bad dream from before. You shut your eyes for a moment and when you opened them you were somewhere else.

" What the hell! What is happening, but this is Grandmother's place"

You decided to open the door, so when you opened it you were met with a gut-wrenching scene. It was your father and grandmother, but they were dead covered in blood body parts missing. Your eyes started to tear up and you screamed.

Suddenly you woke up, drenched in sweat crying.

"Huh, it was all a bad dream. Thank God" you sighed in relief

You looked at your clock and

"What?!? It's already midnight? Why was I never woken up? Whatever, I'll just go get a snack"
