Why do you hurt me?
I was supposed to be beautiful!
You were supposed to make me confident!
I stand high above kings and queens.
I stand amongst men, and with women.
Why do you hurt me?
You are supposed to bring comfort and friends!
My life is supposed to be better with you, yet you hurt me!
You promised me comfort, you promised me praise! Yet, you bring me unquenchable pain!
Will I keep you?
Of course I will!
Will you stay?
Absolutely!
I will remove you, and recover from this pain, but only for a little while before I put you on again.
