"Real glad to see you, boys." Ellen greeted before slapping the back of Dean's head. She glared. "The can of whoopass I ought to open on you. You can't pick up a phone? What are you, allergic to giving me peace of mind? I got to find out that you're alive from Rufus?" She scowled.
"Sorry, Ellen," Dean mumbled, ashamed of his actions and also intimidated by her motherly approach.
"Yeah, you better be. You better put me on speed dial, kid." Ellen warned.
"Yes ma'am," Dean answered. She gave him one last look before walking into the next room. Eden snickered and Dean nudged her. "Oh, shut up."
They followed the woman down a flight of stairs. "What's going on, Ellen?" Dean asked.
"More than I can handle alone." She responded.
"How many demons are there?" Sam questioned.
"Almost everyone in the town. It's-- Don't you feel it?" Eden said, inhaling sharply. She could smell pure sulfur and gunpowder. Anything else was covered.
"No. We aren't you." Ellen scoffed. "So, this is it, right? End times? It's got to be." She knocked on the door in front of them. Eden looked at Sam,
Why is she mad at me?
He shook his head. "Don't know." He mouthed. The girl frowned and watched as Ellen explained who everyone was to a man inside. He opened the door, revealing around 10 people. There were guns, salt, knives, and Holy Water laid out on different tables, scaring most of the people stuck in this situation.
"I doubt I know much more than you. Rufus called. Said he was in town investigating omens. All of a sudden, the whole town was possessed. Me and Jo were nearby--" Ellen began.
"Jo's here?"
"You're hunting with Jo?"
Eden and Dean looked at each other, surprised by how they asked in unison. "I've been hunting with Jo for a while now. We got here, and the place-well, the place was like you see it. Couldn't find Rufus, then me and Jo got separated. I was out looking when I found you." The mom replied.
"I mean, Eden can use her hoodoo to find h--" Dean began.
"Absolutely not. I don't want her anywhere near me, nonetheless my daughter." Ellen interrupted.
