CHAPTER 5 : Picnic

Eunbi inquired with their manager about their upcoming schedule and subsequently informed the group that they had a free week ahead. Turning to her fellow members, she asked, "What should we do today, girls?" Yujin enthusiastically suggested, "How about organizing a family picnic in the park?" Yena quickly agreed, saying, "That sounds like a fantastic idea."

Eunbi then took the lead, saying, "Alright, let's get the meal ready for the kids to enjoy later. Can someone lend a hand in the kitchen?" In response, Minju, Chaewon, Chaeyeon, Yuri, and Nako volunteered to assist Eunbi with the food preparations.

The children and fathers were engrossed in watching TV when Yujin abruptly rose from her seat and made her way to Minju, giving her a surprise backhug. Minju blushed in response to Yujin's affectionate gesture.

Just then, Eunbi chimed in, exclaiming, "Um, Yujin, please inform the others to get the kids ready and pack some spare clothes. We might break a sweat later when we play." Eunbi instructed Yujin.

Yujin swiftly dashed to her fellow members to relay the message, saying, "Hey everyone, Eunbi unnie wants us to prepare the kids and gather our extra clothes." Yujin informed her comrades.

Eunbi pov

"Alright, girls, let's get the food ready for our picnic at the park," the leader said. Minju inquired, "Eunbi unnie, what kinds of food should we prepare?" Eunbi replied, "We'll make sushi, tteokbokki, rice cakes, and some fruits." Chaewon followed up, asking, "And what about snacks, Eunbi unnie?" Eunbi listed, "We'll pack chips, candy, chocolate, chocolate biscuits, and more."

Eunbi then assigned Chaeyeon, Yuri, and Nako to handle the picnic basket and blanket. Afterward, Eunbi called Kwangbae, saying, "Kwangbae," and when he approached, she said, "Get the car ready; we're heading to the park now."

Kwangbae pov

Eunbi requested, "Yujin, Yena, could you assist me in getting the car ready for our trip?" Yena responded, "Sure, Chaewon and I will ride in my car," with Yujin adding, "I'll do the same and follow your car, Kwangbae."

Kwangbae agreed, saying, "Alright, but while we're on the road, could you also pick up some drinks and juice for the kids in case we need to make a restroom stop?"

After preparing the food and desserts, the group called upon Yujin, Yena, Kwangbae, Sakura, Wonyoung, and Hitomi to bring the picnic basket and blanket.

Now outside their house, Eunbi locked the door and turned to Kwangbae, saying, "Kwangbae, we'll pick up some drinks and juice on the way, alright?"

Kwangbae clarified, "I mentioned that to Yena and Yujin because they're using their cars. They'll just follow my car."

Eunbi responded, "Alright, next time, just let me know if you want to use your car so that you can follow Kwangbae's car." She then turned to the others, and Hitomi, Sakura, and Wonyoung raised their hands, saying, "We'll use our cars as well, Eunbi."

Eunbi nodded and concluded, "Okay, let's head to the park now." They began their journey to the park.

Yujin pov

They were now inside the car, en route to the park. Yujin held Minju's hand and suggested, "Hey Justin, what do you say we play a little before we get to the park?" Yujin proposed to the child, and they engaged in some games.

However, Yujin soon noticed that the gas tank was running low, so she called out to Eunbi, saying, "Unnie, my gas is running low. Can we please stop at the nearest gas station?" Eunbi agreed, stating, "Sure, Kwangbae's car is also running low." Eunbi then alerted the others to pull over at the closest gas station, and they made their way there.
