Chapter 7 : Adoption

Following a triumphant global tour, IZONE's members return to South Korea, eager for some much-needed rest. Nevertheless, during their break, they encounter an orphanage grappling with financial woes and overcrowding. Moved by the predicament of these young ones, the group members make a compassionate choice. They opt to provide support by adopting six infants and six toddlers from the orphanage, with each member committing to caring for two children. 

Amidst juggling their demanding careers with the unexpected role of parenthood, the members find themselves amidst a whirlwind of both chaotic and heartwarming experiences. The narrative delves into their trials, moments of happiness, and individual development as they confront the intricacies of raising children. Furthermore, it examines the backing they receive from their management team, devoted personnel, and fans who wholeheartedly support them throughout this unique journey.

IZONE, a popular K-pop group, embarked on a life-changing journey in Seoul, where they gathered in their dormitory, reminiscing about their journey.

Eunbi, the group leader, held a family meeting with the rest of the group, surrounded by colorful toys and plush pillows, filled with excitement.

Eunbi enthusiastically announced her amazing news to the audience. ""Hey, everyone! I have something amazing to share with you,"

Members, including Sakura, Hyewon, Yena, Chaeyeon, Minju, Nako, Hitomi, Yuri, Yujin, and Wonyoung, gathered around Eunbi with curiosity.

"What's going on, Eunbi unnie?" Sakura asked, a playful grin on her face.

Eunbi took a deep breath and revealed, "I was thinking about how we're like a family, and well, why not make it official? What if we adopted children together?". Eunbi expressed her desire to make her family more official by adopting children together.

The room was filled with excitement as members eagerly awaited the prospect of becoming a family.

"Adopting children? That sounds incredible!" Chaewon exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement.

Eunbi nodded, her smile widening. "I've done some research, and there are orphanages in Seoul that could use our help. We have the resources and love to give, so why not?"

 None of us had a set schedule, so I decided to gather the girls for an important conversation. I called out to them, "Hey, everyone, come over here. I want to talk about something." Chaeyeon responded, "What's on your mind, Eunbi Unnie?" I explained, "I think we should visit the adoption center. I'm considering adopting two kids." Hyewon seemed surprised and said, "Wow, two kids? Eunbi Unnie, I already struggle to take care of Henry properly. Please think this through." I couldn't help but pout and replied, "It's alright if you're not ready for three kids at once." Hyewon, however, surprised us with her response, "No, it's okay, Unnie. I want to learn how to take care of three kids. That way, I can handle things when you're not around to help." Eunbi seemed delighted and asked, "Are you sure, Hyewonie?" Hyewon nodded with determination, "Yes, Unnie, I'm sure." Eunbi was overjoyed and hugged Hyewon, saying, "Thank you so much, Hyewonnie. This means a lot to me." "You're welcome, Eunbi Unnie," Hyewon replied, blushing slightly. Amused by the situation, Henry chimed in, "Dad Hyewon looks like a tomato, Mom." He laughed while pointing at Hyewon. Eunbi, still hugging Hyewon, inquired playfully, "Why are you blushing, Hyewonnie?" Trying to cover up her embarrassment, Hyewon responded, "I'm not blushing, Unnie. It's just really hot in here." She fanned herself to emphasize her point. Eunbi accepted the explanation but didn't let go of the affectionate hug. Chaewon also voiced her agreement with Eunbi's earlier idea, "I agree with what you said earlier, Eunbi Unnie." Eunbi was curious and asked, "Do you want to adopt too, Chaewon?" Chaewon nodded and confirmed, "Yes, Unnie, I want to adopt too." Eunbi was pleased to hear this and asked further, "How many do you want to adopt, Chaewonnie?" "Um... I also want to adopt two kids, Eunbi Unnie," Chaewon admitted. However, Yena was not so keen on the idea and expressed her concerns, "I'm not sure about this, Chaewonnie." With pleading eyes, Chaewon implored Yena, "Please, Yena Unnie, can we adopt two kids too?" Unable to resist Chaewon's request, Yena reluctantly gave in, "Alright, fine. We can adopt too, but it's because I can't say no to those eyes." Minju then joined in, asking Yujin, "Yujinie, can we adopt too?" Yujin, in her calm and reassuring voice, replied, "Sure, Unnie, we can adopt too. Don't worry, I'll take care of them when you have a schedule." Overjoyed, Minju thanked Yujin, "Yay! Thank you, Yujinie." Yujin patted Minju's head affectionately and said, "You're welcome, Unnie. I just want to see you happy." "Nakoyah , do you want us to adopt too ?" Hitomi asked. "はい , 私もウンビ姉さんとチェウォン姉さんのような二人の子供を養子にしたいと思っています、予定がなければ私が面倒を見ますので心配しないでください (Translation: Yes , I want to adopt two kids like Eunbi unnie and Chaewon unnie , Don't worry I'll take care of them if I don't have a schedule.) Nako said in japanese. "Oh okay." Hitomi said while shocked. With a cute expression on her face, Chaeyeon playfully called out, "Kurayah~" Sakura looked at Carlisle and responded, "Yes, Jjaeyeonnie? What's on your mind?" Chaeyeon pouted and asked, "Can we adopt too?" Sakura thought for a moment and then replied calmly, "Sure, we can adopt too. We'll take care of them just like real parents and support each other in looking after them." Chaeyeon nodded in agreement and added, "Exactly, we'll care for them as any loving parents would." As they spoke, Chaeyeon gently combed Carlisle's hair, looking forward to the prospect of being a caring and supportive parent. "Yuri unnie , can we adopt too? Pleasee" Wonyoung said with pleading hands and a pleading smile. "응, 우리는 입양할 수 있는데 원영아, 세 아이를 한 번에 감당할 수 있니?" (Translation: Yup , we can adopt but can you handle three kids at once , wonyoung?) Yuri said in korean. "네 언니 제가 감당할 수 있는 애가 셋인데 저 세 아이의 기운이 유진언니 예나언니의 기운과 같아서 제가 감당하기 쉽네요." (Translation: Yes unnie , I can handle three kids , that three kids is easy for me to handle because their energy is just like Yujin unnie and Yena unnie's energy) Wonyoung said in korean. "네 맞아요 원영아 하지만 그들의 에너지는 무궁무진하지 않습니다. 그들은 그들이 하는 일에 결코 질리지 않는 것 같습니다." (Translation : Well yeah, you're right Wonyounga but their energy is not inexhaustible , it's like they never got tired of what they are doing) Yuri said in korean. "언니는 알지만 Sean이 다른 형제가 없어도 더 이상 외롭지 않도록 형제가 있었으면 좋겠어요" (Translation: I know unnie but i really want Sean to have a siblings so that he won't be lonely anymore if his other siblings is not here) Wonyoung said while looking at sean whose playing inside is play tent. "좋아 그게 니가 원하는 거라면 우리도 입양할게" (Translation: Okay if that's what you want then we'll adopt too) Yuri said while looking at Wonyoung's face. "예! 고마워 유리언니 너무 행복해" (Translation : Yes! Thank you Yuri unnie , you're making me happy too much) Wonyoung said while hugging Yuri tightly. "천만에요 원영아 님 미소만 봐도 저도 기분이 좋아져요" (Translation : You are welcome, Wonyoung-ah, just looking at your smile makes me happy too) Yuri said while patting Wonyoung's arm.

"Eunbi unnie , I think all of us want to adopt," Chaewon said while making Sebastian fall asleep. "So ,all of us want to adopt kids?" Eunbi said while tying Henry's hair. "Yes unnie , all of us will adopt kids." Yena shouted. "Yena unnie , 조용히 해 세바스찬은 이미 자고 있다" (Translation: Be quiet , Sebastian is sleeping already) Chaewon said in scolded voice. "어머미안해 이제부터 조용히 할게 채원이" (Translation: Oh my sorry , I'll be quiet from now on , Chaewonnie) Yena said while pouting. Yujin and the others laugh at Yena quietly. "예나언니가 와이프한테 혼났어요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ" (Translation : Yena unnie got scolded by her wife HAHAHAHAHA) Yujin said while laughing quietly. "채원이는 아직 내 아내가 아니다. 그녀는 지금 내 여자친구일 뿐이지만 그녀가 내가 그녀를 그렇게 부르는 것을 좋아한다면 그녀를 내 아내라고 부를 수 있다는 것을 알고" (Translation : Chaewonnie is not my wife yet , she is just my girlfriend for now but you know i can call her my wifey if she likes me to call her that) Yena said while looking down. "저를 제 아내, 예나 언니라고 불러도 됩니다. 언젠가 저를 그 별명으로 부를 거란 걸 알기 때문입니다." (Translation : You can call me my wifey , Yena unnie because I know someday you're gonna call me by that nickname.) Chaewon said while blushing. "정말 채원이라는 별명으로 부를 수 있어" (Translation : Really i can call you by that nickname chaewonnie) Yena said with happy tone. " 응 언니 그 닉네임으로 불러도 돼" (Translation : Yes unnie , you can call me by that nickname) Chaewon said while looking through Yena's eyes. "그럼 우리 모두 입양한다면 준비합시다 여러분" (Translation: Well if all of us will adopt then let's get ready , everyone) Eunbi said while standing. "네, 언니" (Translation : Yes , unnie) The girls answered. While half of the girls, including Eunbi, Chaewon, Minju, Nako, Chaeyeon, and Yuri, are preparing, the children are having fun in their play area with their father. Yujin's POV"언니들 차를 이용할 건가요, 아니면 그냥 밴을 이용할 건가요?" (Translation : Unnies , are you going to use your own car or we're just going to use the van?) Yujin asked. "나중에 은비언니한테 물어볼게유진이" (Translation:Let me ask eunbi unnie later , yujinie) Hyewon said. " 알았어 혜원언니" (Okay , Hyewon unnie) Yujin answer while nodding. Yujin and Justin continued to play while waiting for the others. "Yudings" Yena calls Yujin who's busy playing with justin. " 왜요, 예나 언니?" (Translation : Why, Yena unnie?) Yujin asked. "私たち 6 人のために新しいグループ チャットを作成してもらえますか?" (Translation: Can you make a new group chat for us six?) Yena said while pointing to Hyewon and the other three. "알았어 언니 근데 돈 먼저 갚아야지 헤헤" (Translation: Okay unnie but you have to pay me first hehe) Yujin said while smirking. "알았어, 돈을 얼마나 원하니, 유진이? (Translation : Okay , how much money do you want , Yujinie?)Yena said while side eyeing yujin. " I'm just kidding , unnie" Yujin said while laughing. "오, 진짜? 그래도 돈은 좀 줄게" (Translation : Oh really? I'm about to give you some money though) Yena said while looking at her smirking. "돈 줘 예나 언니 지금 갖고 싶어요 ㅎㅎ" (Translation : Give me the money yena unnie , I want it now hehe) Yujing said while trying to get the money. "아냐, 너가 농담이라고 하니까 더 이상 주지 않을게 유진이" (Translation : Nope , I won't give it to you anymore because you said you were just kidding , Yujinie) Yena said while running and shouting. Eunbi shouted "Guys , don't tired yourself up cause we had to go the adoption center today" Yujin and Yena answered while still running "Yeah noted! Unnie". Hyewon asked "Eunbi unnie , do we need to drive our own car?" Eunbi answers "Yeah you need to cause we won't be able to fit in a van if we already adopt" Hyewon answers while nodding " Okay unnie"  (30 mins later).
Eunbi shouted and asked  "Everyone , are you all ready to go?" All of the members answers "Yes unnie" Eunbi said "Okay let's go". The couples and the kids goes inside the car and drive away.

The group unanimously agreed to adopt children and build a family together, but their journey took an unexpected turn.

IZ*ONE visited an orphanage known for finding loving homes for children, where they were greeted by a dozen children playing in the spacious yard, bringing laughter and bright smiles to the members' hearts.

As they spent time with the children, each member felt a special connection with certain kids. It wasn't long before they decided to adopt six toddlers and six babies, creating a unique and diverse family.

The adoption process involved paperwork, interviews, and preparation, but IZ*ONE members created a nurturing environment in their dormitory by transforming spare rooms into nurseries filled with cribs, toys, and baby essentials.

The day arrived when the children would officially join the IZONE family, filled with excitement and nervousness. The members eagerly stood in front of the orphanage, filled with hope and uncertainty, causing tears to flow.

"We're here to bring you home," Eunbi said, her voice filled with warmth and love.

The children's faces lit up as they shared tears and smiles, and the journey home was filled with laughter and the promise of a new beginning.

In the weeks that followed, the IZ*ONE dormitory became a lively haven of love and joy. The toddlers, named Zion , Eunchae , Leeseo , Cairo , Mason , and William , brought boundless energy and laughter to the group. The babies, named Claire , Elias , Edward , Jackson , Zaire , and Leo Flynn , filled the dorm with the sweet sounds of coos and giggles.

The group, led by Eunbi, played a crucial role in nurturing the children, with Sakura and Hyewon serving as playful dads and Yena and Chaeyeon as designated storytellers, ensuring they received the love and care they deserved.

Minju and Nako, a creative duo, organized art and music sessions for children, fostering their natural talents. Hitomi and Yuri, gentle and patient, provided a calming presence, while Yujin and Wonyoung, the youngest members, became energetic playmates, engaging in playful antics.

As the bond between IZ*ONE and their adopted children deepened, members shared their careers, joys, and challenges, while the dorm echoed with the sounds of lullabies, laughter, and the pitter-patter of little feet.

As the sun set, family members gathered in the living room for a meeting, with their children asleep and dreaming of love and happiness.

"I never knew being a mom could be this rewarding," Eunbi confessed, her eyes glistening with tears of joy. "Our lives have changed so much, but I wouldn't have it any other way."

Members expressed gratitude and love for their unique family, admiring the resilience and strength of their children who had grown in the nurturing environment they provided.

Their journey was about to face its most significant challenge.

After a busy rehearsal and interview schedule, the members were surprised to find a somber social worker at their dormitory, expressing their sadness.

"Is everything okay?" Eunbi asked, concerned about etching her features.

The social worker reported that the orphanage they adopted the children from was facing financial difficulties, prompting them to consider relocating some of the children to other facilities.

The news of IZ*ONE member being separated from their children was shocking and heartbreaking, leaving them shocked and devastated.

"We can't let this happen," Sakura said, her determination shining through. "We've built a family, and we won't let anything tear us apart."

The group united to preserve their family, organizing charity events and fundraisers, and raising awareness about the orphanage's situation, with the K-pop community and fanbase showing unwavering support.

IZ*ONE members and fans raised funds to support an orphanage and other struggling facilities, spreading the news like wildfire. A social worker returned with tears of gratitude, expressing gratitude for the support.

"Thanks to your efforts, not only will the children stay, but you've made a difference for countless others," she said, her voice filled with emotion.

IZ*ONE members experienced a heartwarming hug, fostering a stronger bond and the power of love, bringing them closer together.
