{ I don't know what I'm gonna do yet.. but I'm bored so it's time to ramble. I don't like sad endings, because as a Tommy Apologist some of the fanfics I've read, really hurt me. Anyway, I don't like writing happy endings, so I give you sad endings. Hopefully the villain book doesn't end too sad. }
(There will be cursing ;-;)
------------
It's cliché, but Tommy didn't like or believe in happy endings. Any happy ending book he'd just toss, most of the books he read ended in a main characters demise, or depression. He couldn't believe he was the main character in his own story though, because it was too damn happy.
He was adopted out of the foster care system by Philza Minecraft at the age of 6, made a connection with his adoptive brother Wilbur, and a slightly weaker connection with his other adopted brother Techno. He made friends in school, with Purpled, Ranboo, and best friends with Tubbo.
Tommy didn't understand it. Everything was so fucking good! Philza was kind to him, Wilbur would teach him to play the guitar, Techno would play Minecraft with him, Tubbo would hang out in the park with him, Ranboo and Purpled tagged along, and even then he still made time to hang out one on one with Ranboo or Purpled.
His teacher, Ms. Puffy, was the greatest teacher of all time! Had immense patience with him, and he was doing great in school, but it all just seemed to fucking perfect.
Tommy had made so many bad outcomes in his head, anxiety of betrayal hit him so hard, yet it was proved wrong again and again, so many times over. He just couldn't shake the feelings of presentiment. He'd gone over everything in his life, many times, all he could see was upcoming betrayal or loneliness, he could almost taste it, it was on his shoulders and weighing him down, but he daren't tell a single soul. Not Tubbo, and not even Wilbur knew.
The blonde doodled on his notes while sitting in class. Small doodles covered his page, usually of friends hanging out, or once or twice a mask with happiness on it. He couldn't understand the overwhelming feeling on him.
Soon enough school was done and he found himself being dragged along by Tubbo to the park nearby the school. Ranboo and Purpled were tagging along. "Tubbo, I just don't feel like it today." He muttered as they sat down in the grass, waiting for the other two to show up from their class.
"C'mon boss man! We always hangout after school." Tubbo pushed him gently, but Tommy still fell over with a quick sigh. "Are you sick or something?"
Tommy shook his head. "Couldn't be.." He replied. "It would ruin this perfect dream wouldn't it?" He couldn't bring that sentence over a whisper if he tried, and Tubbo was greeting Purpled and Ranboo as they sat down.
"You okay Toms?" Purpled laughed, throwing just a bit of grass at his friend. Tommy sat up, assured them he was fine, and engaged with them in their talks.
Tommy let everyone go home after 30 minutes, and said he'd be fine walking by himself, but he didn't leave the park, and he didn't bother to message Phil about coming home late, instead he put his phone on silent. He got a coffee from a cafe and sat in the booth next to the window, just watching outside. By now the sun had set, and he could hear the employees changing shifts, but he still didn't bother to pick his phone up.
The coffee had been finished a while ago, but he was swiping through apps now, his shoulders sinking as he became slightly sleepy. "Hey you alright kid?" an employee, blonde hair, green eyes, was standing next to him now. "You've been here since 4 p.m. and midnight is in an hour or so.."
Dread washed over Tommy, and he couldn't explain it, maybe it was because the employee's eyes were a bit to vivid to be a natural green, or that the mask covering his bottom face, for accessory reasons he assumed, was off putting, or because his name tag read "Dream" and he didn't like it for whatever reason, Tommy couldn't place a finger on it, but he pulled a new defense out of this air, aggression.
