{Not me projecting onto Tommy's character- swear by Tommy's will to live in this specific story. Anyway.. Happy new year I guess.. This story is just more and more angst soo.. enjoy? I mean that's what you came to my book for I would assume.. otherwise, I hope you weren't expecting fluff.}
Tommy was walking along the prime path alone, the moon was floating over his head. The blonde boy had just left SnowChester, leaving behind Tubbo and Ranboo with their son Michael. He had been miserable the entire time but would never tell Tubbo or Ranboo, they had their own problems, which was obvious when they vented to him. Raising Michael was very hard, and he would have to agree with them. The language barrier, and even the species barrier, must be terrible, Tommy wouldn't know, he had it just fine.. Didn't he?
He kicked the floor while he walked, ultimately ending up in him falling forward and hitting himself face first on the wood. Getting up slowly he started walking again, ignoring the pain in his nose. Eventually as he continued his way home, where that was exactly, he didn't really know, Tommy came across another figure, Niki?
"Tommy?" she asked as they met up on the path, "what are you doing?" Her voice sounded bitter, salted, but there was confusion.
"Walking..." he wasn't sure he could consider the dirt house his home. "Somewhere I guess."
"You realize your nose is bleeding, right?" She pointed it out, giving him an arched eyebrow. Tommy shook his head and stepped out of her way to continue down the prime path. Niki stopped him though. "What do you mean you don't know? Can't you feel it?"
Tommy shrugged. "Not really."
"It's running down your face, Tommy, are you telling me you can't even taste?" She inquired.
"There happens to be an everlasting metallic taste in my mouth." Tommy wanted out of the situation as fast as possible, so he complied with all her questions. Unfortunately, if he had been any less tired and reacted with his usual brash personality, he might have just gotten out of it.
Nihachu stared at him, but Tommy wouldn't know, he was staring at the floor, he couldn't see the utter confusion and slight concern on her face. "I'm gonna go now.." He muttered, walking once again only to get grabbed by the wrist. It was quite painful actually, scars not healed right from exile remained on his wrist.
"Tommy, that's not safe." She made him meet her gaze, so she could see his face, and was still surprised when she found a tired and exhausted expression, and for the first time in a while, she felt genuinely scared for Tommy. "Are you okay?"
The boy looked at her, studying her face for insincerity, and signs of bad intention. Tommy can't remember the last time he heard those words all together and directed at him. Maybe back at Techno's place, damn, he actually sort of missed back then. "Yeah." He lied right through his teeth.
Niki's face contorted into anger and she stepped back. "What do you mean yeah? What do you mean by that Tommy! Because it's obviously not true, are you saying you just couldn't care less? Maybe you're trying to play hero again!"
Tommy watched her, sinking in on himself slowly. "'M sorry.." He stumbled back.
Nihachu stared at him, wide eyed. She was processing the boy in front of her, when she finished she couldn't tell you what compelled her to commit to grabbing him by the arm and walking him down the prime path. Niki was well aware of the tension Tommy had while she basically dragged him to a building nearby, the Hotel.
"Oh no.. N-niki, Jack says I can't go near the hotel.. Not since he claimed it after I died." Tommy tried to tell her while she dragged him inside.

FanfictionMost of this is going to be angst, don't expect happy endings very often, but you can always hope! Some chapters will be long, others will be short, I don't think I'll be taking requests but ideas for a continuation of a chapter are always welcome...
