♤ Chapter Four - Milkshakes ♤

Y/N's POV:

"So... How long have you been working at the diner?" Daron asks. "I've been working there for about two years." I sigh. "Ah, seems like a cosy place. You make it sound like you get tortured there." He says chuckling. I shake my head smiling at him.

"I need to be getting back to work. My lunch break is nearly over. I'll see you soon, I'm sure." I wink at him. "See ya, Y/N."
"Bye, Daron!"

At around 16:46 pm, I see Daron walk in. 'Oof, Daron... this should be fun' I think to myself, smirking. He sits down, and I grab my note pad and pen and walk over to him. "Hello, Y/N." He says trying to embarras me. "Hey, Daron. What can I get you?" I ask. "I'll just have two milk-shakes." He says with a smile in his face. "Okay," I reply, "that will be ready for you in two minutes."

I come back with the milk-shakes, and place them on the table. "Here is the two Milkshakes. Is there anything else I can get for you?" I ask him. "Now that I think about it... there is something.." He says suspiciously, "could you maybe sit with me and have this second milkshake...?" "Oh, I couldn't. I have work," I decline.  "It won't take long, just what? Five minutes? And its not like you're gonna get a customer." He says trying to convince me.

"Alright, fine. I'll have it." I say sitting down on the seat.   "So, Y/N... How old are you? Not in a creepy way or anything like that, I'm just curious." He questions,  "I am twenty six." I reply to him, "Why? How old are you?" 
"Oh, I'm twenty seven." He responds back.   "Hm... Oh! I know a good question," Daron states, "Okay...go on.." I say, eyeing him. "What is your favourite genre of music?"  

"I like a bit of rock, maybe a bit of Nu- Metal. Definitely Thrash Metal and a small bit of Black Metal. What about you?" I ask him. "I like Nu- Metal and Thrash Metal too." He replies.

"What your favourite band?" I ask him excitedly,   "Oh, I like Slayer and KISS. They're pretty good bands."
"Ah, I like Slayer aswell. KISS, not so much, but they're still good. But my favourite bands so far has to be System Of A Down or Metallica."

"Wha-?" Daron says choking on his milkshake.
