I was way too freaked out to go sit in my room in the dark so instead Reid had dragged me all the way into town for some cold soft serve ice cream, "Reid?" He sighed before I had even said his name, "I'm a warlock."

When he blurted out those words I stiffened in the passenger seat, "You got attacked by a darkling, but none of us sent it after you, I promise, I," I stopped him quickly making him shut his mouth as we sat in the parked car outside of the shop, "Reid shut up, please..." He looked like a kicked puppy until he peered at my expression.

"I... I kind of knew already." I had my eyes closed as I rubbed my temples, it was awkward and he would probably freak out at what I was about to say and do, "I can feel when you use magic, I may not know what a 'gargling' is or whatever but, oh my fuck," I threw my head back against the head rest at what I was about to do, "Don't freak out okay?"

"I didn't know exactly what you were, I just thought I was imagining it." It was his turn to be confused today and when I turned to him sitting sideways in my seat I flashed my eyes at him, they pulsed a light green before I flashed them a full black for a second.

When my eyes went back to normal he just sat frozen as I got worried, "Reid?" He flipped the next second, reaching towards me in a rush. I didn't even have enough time to flinch as his fist closed around my throat and pulled me over the console.

What surprised me the most wasn't his non-existent anger but how he smashed our lips together, and for a quick second all I could think about was why didn't he get angry but it quickly left my thoughts. My eyes were closed and I felt hazy, the energy I felt when we were in the same vicinity was magnified so intensely as we melded together that my mind went blank as I crawled over and into his lap.

I was left breathless, slightly dazed and lost as he somehow managed to pull away from me, it got worse and my daze faded quickly when I realized he had not only pulled away but got out of the car leaving me sat on the console with one of my legs in his seat and the other under his steering wheel as I sat sideways.

I only realized exactly what was going on when he leaned over to peer at me through the open door before standing with his hand extended.

I had to blink a few times before getting out of the car, he took my hand shutting the door behind me before walking us into the old diner style shake shack. "Reid? Are you mad at me?" He had ignored me the entire time after sitting down at a booth with a huff, he only really set his eyes on me when I spoke to him.

"No, if anything it feels right, if that makes any sense, I don't know how the guys would take it if they find out but," I was watching him as he talked, "I think if anything it'll make you fit in more with us."

I just watched waiting for him to ask me something, anything, "Is Sarah like us too? Or well, like you I mean?" I shook my head at him looking down for a moment before meeting his gaze once again, "I'm her half sister, I got it from my mother."

The waitress came over with her eyes stuck to Reid and a bounce in her step, "Hi Reid, what can I get you? Maybe, my number?" He barely even looked at her as he spoke, "Two soft chocolate bowls and a basket of fries." She winked at him giving an okay with a flirty voice before walking off, completely ignoring my existence. "But you know what this means right?" I bit my lip and tilted my head at his words, "We have to date, it's the rules. We have to be with each other now."

I actually choked on my own laughter as he tried not to join in my laughter, "Is that so?" He nodded at me as he licked his lips with a smirk, "Well if it's the rules then I guess I can't say no." I lent onto the table after a long fake sigh, "Nope you can't, all mine now." Our laughter toned down as the girl from before walked over, setting the basket and bowls down in front of him as well as sliding the check across the table to him as she bent over the table, "Here you go."

I watched her leave with a cocked brow before narrowing my eyes at him in a playful manner, "does this mean I'm going to have to beat the girls off of you with a stick now?" He chuckled before sliding a bowl of ice cream in front of me and the fries in between us, "Maybe." I grabbed a fry with a smile on my face and dipped it into the sweet creamy dessert, he watched me toss it onto my tongue as he grabbed his own fry and did the same.

"Fries and ice cream huh?" I looked at the receipt to see that it was upside down and it had a phone number scrawled on it in red pen. He noticed my attention wasn't on him and after I took a quick glance around the little shack shop I pulsed my eyes a green flash making the number disappear. "Really?" I only shrugged at him, "Well what do you expect, doll face..."

"I'm not the best at sharing things I like."
