Max sees Y/N for the first time

Max POV

I opened the door of the arcade to go outside. My friend, Lucas followed right behind me.

I stepped on my skateboard: "What do we do now?"

Lucas looked at me, walking beside me: "I dunno, maybe uh, go to the cinema?"

I nodded slowly: "Not a bad idea. Got any money left?"

"No?", he stuttered.
"Shit", I exclaimed, "Me neither."
"No cinema, then", Lucas sighed.
I stopped rolling before crossing the street.

I looked around the roads as I waited. A car stopped on the other side of the road and a girl, around my age, got out of the car.

She bent down to talk to the driver, nodding a few times and laughing.
She closed the car door, waving as the car drove off.

Her bomber jacket had a bunch of rock band patches attached onto it.

I couldn't help but to stare at her.

"Max? Hello?", Lucas waved his hand before my face.

I looked at him: "What?"
"We can cross! Who are you staring at?"
I pointed at the girl: "She looks awesome."

I gave my skateboard a nudge, rolling over the street.

"Excuse me?", I exclaimed, gaining the girl's attention.

She looked at me with a confused smile.
"What's your name?", I asked, getting closer to her.

"It's, uh, Y/N. Yours?"

I stopped in front of her, smiling:
"Max."
