Y/N POV

I sat at my desk on a cold autumn evening, finishing off the last bit of my English homework as my door opened.

I turned my head to see Will standing in the doorframe: "What're you doing?"

"Homework", I replied, staring at my younger sibling.

"Well, dinner's almost ready. Mom said to come and get you", Will smiled.

"I'll be right there, Willie", I nodded, closing my notebook.

After dinner, I sat in my bedroom, reading a book. After a while, I got bored.
I got up, looking at my clock.

9:10 pm.

Swaying, I went over to my record player, putting in a Bily Idol vinyl.

The song Dancing with myself started playing as the first track.

I nodded, smiling, starting to dance around my room subtly.

Suddenly, I heard a chuckle from behind me.

I stopped dancing and turned around in embarrassment slowly to see Nancy standing in front of my bedroom door.

My eyes widened as I felt myself blush: "How long have you been standing here?"

She chuckled: "Only about... the whole song."

I sighed as I looked at her: "Why- are you even here, Nance?"

She shook her head, lifting a bag: "I brought your favourite cupcakes and a vinyl you forgot at my house."

I laughed, taking the bag and hugging Nancy as she closed the door.
She kissed my cheek softly.
