"It's Okay to Cry"

                                                                                Gou's POV 

It's the 23rd of December. Gou is out shopping in Vermilion City, trying to find a Christmas present for Satoshi. He's close to giving up, until he goes into a hat shop. Here, he takes his time. Gou searches and searches until what he finds what he's looking for. 

A red cap, which looks very much like Satoshi's, except for one difference-written in black pen, was Leon's personally handwritten signature. Gou knows that this hat is the perfect gift for Satoshi.

"Excuse me, ma'am? I'd like to buy this hat right here!" Gou told the cashier.

"Of course! Your total for today is 5,600 yen." Replied the cashier.

Gou pays up for the hat.

"Can I get this wrapped? This is going to be a present for my...friend." 

"Friend? Are you sure it's just a friend?" She teased.

Gou was surprised how much this cashier knew! Was he really that obvious?

"I-It's just my friend. No one special, I don't have a crush on any-"

"-Oh hey Gou!" Satoshi exclaimed, walking in the store.

Gou slowly turned around.

His palms started sweating.

"Oh h-hey Satoshi.."

"Nice seeing you here, I didn't think you were into hats!" 

"I just like looking at them...they're cool.."

Satoshi's Rotom Phone started ringing.

"You have been challenged to a..."

"Oops, better take this! See ya later today Gou!"

"Bye Satoshi.."

His "friend" walked out of the store.

"I'm guessing that was your 'friend'?" Asked the cashier.

Gou nodded and blushed.

"Figured as much. Well you go have a very Merry Christmas with your friend!" 

Gou grabbed the wrapped package and walked out of the store. 

                                                                Satoshi's POV

                 *TIME SKIP,  DAY OF CHRISTMAS EVE-AT CERISE LABORATORY* 

"Merry Early Christmas Gou!"

"Merry Christmas to you too!" 

"Are you ready for the Secret Santa thing thing this year?"

"Yep! I think I got my Secret Santa  a really good gift! Sure was expensive though."

"Same, but it was totally worth it." 

"I really hope they like my gift, I spent over 3 hours looking their present.."

"Gou, I bet they won't like your gift, they'll love it!"

Satoshi sees that Gou is blushing.

                                                                         Satoshi's POV

"Ok Satoshi, you pull a name out of this hat" explained Koharu. "Me and Dad already did ours. Just make sure not to show it to us, or it obviously wouldn't be a secret anymore."
