a month with SUNNY. (SUNFLOWER)

i miss him..

after telling POLLY he was going out for the day, BASIL took a walk around faraway park.

KEL wasn't there, but AUBREY was, hanging out with her group of friends, he timidly waved hello to her and her scary friends; and quickly moved along.

HERO wasn't home from college, he had a trip planned to be back soon, but that wouldn't be for a while, so for now, KEL was alone at his house; probably bored out of his mind.

maybe BASIL's visit would cheer him up, at least, he hoped it would.

he got to the house, taking a peek at the new car in SUNNY's driveway.

what is wrong with those people? how could they do that to him? don't they know how many memories were made there?

before going into KEL's house, he kicked several times at the shiny new car, until, it started honking.

turns out, someone was in it..

uh oh.

BASIL turned and ran into KEL's house, not even bothering to knock, he was almost crying now, and needed to get to KEL before he forgot what he needed to talk about.

he had a tendency to do that when thinking about SUNNY leaving him.

he walked right by KEL's mom and dad, who were almost used to this sort of entrance from BASIL, they didn't bother to say hello, as they knew they wouldn't get a response.

BASIL went inside KEL's room, once again not bothering to knock, to find him asleep, peacefully.

BASIL then shook him awake.

"KEL. it's 10AM, what are you doing in bed still? you know this isn't healthy!" BASIL whined at him.

"ughhh its the weekend momm just let me sleep some more pleasee," KEL said absent-mindedly, and covered his head with his blanket.

BASIL playfully hit his arm, "it's not your mom doofus, it's me! BASIL."

KEL awoke.

"oh.. oh! hi BASIL, how a-"

"yeah i'm great KEL. anyways i really need to talk to you about something! it's important!" BASIL's bad mood faded away as he sat with a grin next to KEL.

KEL stretched, then sat back down with BASIL; smiling as well, having BASIL's sudden good mood rub off on him he "okay then, let's hear it!" KEL said.

"i- i have an idea! you know how SUNNY isn't visiting this week, because of his mom?"

"yeah i-"

"i wanted to surprise him! i wanted to visit HIM this time around, but not only for one day, i wanted to stay with him for a whole month KEL! doesn't that sound great?" 

KEL frowned, he was happy BASIL was excited, but he didn't think visiting for a whole month was the greatest idea, what with BASIL feeling the way he did about SUNNY, and SUNNY having no clue.

"i dunno BASIL, it seems a bit out of nowhere, maybe you should think about this more bud."

"but KEL, i have this all planned out, i pack a bag, and i tell POLLY to bring me!"

KEL had to laugh at this, saying you have something all planned out, then listing only two things was something only he himself was dumb enough to do. 

"BASIL, i thought you knew better than this. i think i might be rubbing off on you some." KEL said with a smile.

now it was BASIL's turn to frown.

he had thought it was a great idea, but saying it out loud, he realized he really should plan something like this more. then he thought, no, i really don't feel like it.

"thanks for the advice KEL, i'll start packing my bags now!"

"BASIL that is literally the oppos-"

BASIL started jogging towards the door; "bye KEL! see you in about a month!"

KEL could do nothing but sit open-mouthed as he watched BASIL leave.

"oh well, i'm sure that'll turn out fine."
