Shitty Day

Eventually it was time to leave and JJ and Sarah decided to go back to the chateau with you. "That movie was pretty good." You said out of no where walking into the house. "I thought it was good too but don't ask them I don't think they were paying attention." JJ snickered and pointed at John B and Sarah. "Hey shut up man, can I not kiss my girl?" John B asked JJ slightly annoyed. "Woah chill dude, just saying you could've saved it for the bedroom. Me and Adi did not wanna see that shit man." JJ stated. He had a point, you definitely didn't want to see your brother eating Sarah's face. "Sorry Mads." You just nodded in response. "I'm getting tired can we go to bed?" Sarah asked and started walking to the bedroom. "Yeah John B she's 'tired' better get in there." JJ said with finger quotations. John B looked like he was ready to kill JJ. "Ew" "Oh yeah sorry Adi" He replied sincerely. "Okay well I'm going to bed too." You said with a yawn. "Do you want some company?" JJ asked in a flirtatious but joking way, he winked playfully as he said it. "In your dreams Maybank." You returned. "Don't get any ideas JJ that's my little sister." Your brother shouted from his room. "Bro I sleep in her room all the time it's nothing new" He was right, he has slept in there way more times than he could count, it was always fun though because he made it fun. They would play games and talk about crazy stories. Sometimes he would crawl into bed and hold you if the story took a sad turn. One time he cuddled you until morning, and that's the reason you thought you had something with JJ, because of the way he treated you. He made you feel safe and loved. JJ always knew how to make you laugh or cheer you up and make you feel good about yourself. You got into bed and silently let teardrops fall onto your pillow without uttering a word to JJ. "Hey you okay?" You heard the familiar voice ask from behind you. "Yea no worries" you sniffled. He obviously knew you were lying so he got into bed with you and rubbed your arm. "What's wrong?" He asked. You flinched. "Did I do something wrong?" JJ asked with so much shock in his voice. "No you didn't, I'm fine JJ." You sighed. "I know you are lying, I have known you your whole life, I know you like your my sister." And that's when you finally broke, you let all of the tears out, with every sound that went with them. "Tell me what's wrong." JJ demanded. You sat up looking down at your hands. "Maybe I don't want to be your sister JJ, maybe I see you differently and every time you say that I get hurt." JJ was shocked and didn't know how to move on from this. He felt bad so all he could do was hug you and let you cry into his shoulder, which is exactly what you did. "S-so not Pope?" He asked. "Really JJ?" "Just asking. I don't really know what to say, I barely know my own feelings, I'm sorry. I wish I could give you a better answer right now." He said. "I shouldn't have said anything" You stated with your head in your hands. JJ lifted your head to meet his eyes. "I'm glad you did." And he hugged you. You expected a kiss. You knew he wouldn't feel the same, why would he? You are his best friend's little sister, his little sister in a way. "I-I will sleep on the couch tonight Madison" JJ said picking up his normal pillow and blanket and heading to the living room. Your heart sunk for the third time or so today. Madison. That was the first time he has called you by your full name since you first met him. You cried yourself to sleep that night hoping it would be a terrible dream when you woke up the next day.

Time Skip

It was the next morning and you were getting ready for school. You immediately got dressed and headed out not waiting for anyone to follow you, you were too humiliated from last night. You heard someone calling your name but didn't care to look back to see who it was. You were skateboarding to school today and met up with Leah and Chloe. Once they got there you did your mandatory fit check.

"Everyone looks great, got to go." You said in a very speedy manner. The girls shouted at you wanting you to come back but it was already too late you were on your way to class. Sadly JJ was in your first period and he had decided to sit next to you yesterday so that was his assigned seat. He kept trying to speak to you saying he's so sorry but you weren't listening, or at least you were trying not to listen. "Madison answer me." JJ said in a very stern and scary voice that you had never heard. "Class Dismissed." Mr. Schneider said and you have never been more happy to hear that phrase. You walked to your next class trying to get away from JJ as fast as you could but he eventually grabbed your wrist and turning you to face him. "We need to talk now." He said, again in that same scary voice. He sounded almost threatening. "You're scaring me JJ." You said with wide eyes pulling your arm back and walking away. You went into the girls bathroom already balling your eyes out but to make matters worse Maya and her posse were waiting for you in there. You saw Maya getting ready to speak but you did before she could. "Don't. I don't want to hear it. Leave me the fuck alone, bother someone else today." You demanded. "Well I was going to be nice today but now I don't know if I want to." She snapped her fingers and two of her minions grabbed your arms. They dragged you over to a stall and Maya started dunking your head into the toilet. Eventually she stopped but you just sat there, next to the toilet thinking about your shitty day. Maya left but you heard her say something. "You might want to get your friend, she seems to be having a bad day." She giggled and left. You heard shoes clacking against the tile until they got to you. It was Leah. "Are you okay?!" She asked. "No."
