The night was dark and cloudy, covering the moon with a sheet of grey. The time you banished Dream to prison was fresh in your mind. You and Dream had been such good pals; it hurt to remember how he turned bad so fast. Gazing out your window, you rest your head against your arm.
A shooting star blazed past, and you widened your eyes in shock. The meteor was getting... CLOSER! In a split second it hurled toward earth with and unexplainable impact. You jumped to your feet. Did that meteor just land in your backyard?
Instantly, you grabbed your jacket, wrapped it around yourself, and then bolted outside. Sure enough, a rock about the size of a small oven was lodged in your backyard. You tiptoe closer, still unsure whether it was safe or not.
Suddenly, a familiar voice called from the meteor's direction. "(y/n)? (y/n), is that you?" You freeze in place, No way... you think.
Second felt like hours until finally a small, sphere shaped robot rolled around the rock. "(y/n), it is you!" he exclaimed. The gamer's Floridian accent rang in your head. You can barely manage to breathe. "D-Dream?" You ask with a mere whisper.
Dream came towards you. "Yes! Can you believe it? I made it here from prison!" he paused. "You're still made at me... aren't you?" You don't say anything, just glare at him. "(y/n), I'm sorry. I just... You see... I didn't mean to..." Dream sighed. "I'm so so sorry, (y/n). Can you ever forgive me?"
You can feel your heart crack in two. You want to forgive him, but then you remember he tried to kill you. "No..." you mutter. He retreats back a bit at your response. "Excuse me, w-what?"
You raise your voice. "Forgive you?! After everything you did?! We were supposed to help each other, and what did you do?! Huh?" Dream stared at the ground, not wanting to reply. "That's what I thought," you say. You spun around and stomped back towards your house.
Yelling over your shoulder you add, "You're just as bad as Schlatt! How could I ever forgive you-you monster!" Tears beginning to fill your eyes, you stumble into your house, the door locking behind you.
