Jily and Blackinnon: One shots

Mission Jily Part 2

"Shh! Keep your voice low" Alice whispered to the group 

"They are right there!" Sirius said excitedly

"We just have to wait for the right moment" Frank whispered

Lily was sitting in front of the fire eating cupcakes when James went over and sat down beside him.

"Hey" James said to Lily

"Hi" Lily said without taking her eyes off the fire still munching on her cup cake.

"Aren't you coming to Dinner?" James asked her

"I don't fell like going to the great hall, and you?" Lily said finally tearing her eyes off the fire.

 "I'm waiting for the other idiots, Sirius told me to wait here" James said and picked up a cupcake from Lily's plate.

"Hey! Get your own cupcakes" Lily said but smirked.

"Nope, why should I get my own when a gorgeous girl already got it for me" James said smirking

Lily blushed at his comment "Oh, well- Give it back, you prat!" She yelled as James had taken her plate and ran off.

"I'm not giving it" James said running faster as Lily chased him across the common room, Lily was just about to catch him when they both couldn't move. She looked up and the thing she was dreading the most

A mistletoe

Great this is exactly what she needed, being stuck under a magical mistletoe with James potter. Now James had seen the mistletoe too and while both of them were stuttering nervously 

"Err... well there's no option... I mean its... its a magical mistletoe..." Lily fiddled nervously with her t-shirt.

But he did it, he kissed her right on her mouth, a kiss on the cheek would have done it. But James kissed her and it was one of the best feelings in the world her lips on his..... The one they both had been longing for, for so long.

They broke apart cheeks flushed and foreheads resting on each other.

"Wow"

"Yeah... wow"

"Mind if I ask you something?"

"Yeah"

"Can I kiss you again?" He asked biting his lip praying to every god that she wouldn't jinx him, but she brought her lips up to his again and kissed him with all her might.

"If this is how I get to spend my night, then I am so ready to dich every dinner" James said as Lily mumbled a faint 'Merry Christmas'.

"Will you go out with me?" he asked as they broke from the hug

"Took you long enough..." She said and kissed his cheek as their friends jumped out from under the sofa and started congratulating them.

 And by the next day the whole school knew that James Potter had finally succeeded to get Lily Evans date him.
