Flip. Tsssssss. Flip. Tsssssss.

The girl with fiery red hair and almond-shaped Emerald eyes heard these sounds as she flipped pancakes one rainy and groggy friday morning. She waved her wand (she loved that willow wand; it was a 10 1/4 inches long and it was great for charms) and the pancakes flipped over again

There was aloud thud overhead and she had to restrain a laugh. Lily otter put her hands on her hips and raised her sight to the ceiling. Her husband, James, had agreed to clean out the attic, which featured a boggart in the old armoire above.

There was another thud, and a small yelp. She furrowed her eyebrows. Usually, it took only two minutes to clear a boggart, but he'd been up there for a while now. What if his worst fear had been Voldemort? She shuddered.

She stood up quickly and almost sprinted to the stairs leading to the attic.

What she saw made her gasp. Her husband was backed against the wall, his arms outstretched, pointing his mahogany wand and trembling slightly. And there, sprawled on the ground, was herself. She looked exactly like she looked now, with her yellow Beatles shirt and jeans and her black tennis shoes. The only difference was that Boggart Lily's red hair was tangled and messy, she was bleeding, and her stomach was protruding a lot more.

Her hand trembling slightly, she pointed her wand at the Boggart Lily and shouted, "Riddikulus!" Immediately, the Boggart Lily stood up and turned into a clown and started tap dancing. She laughed and even James managed a chuckle.

When the boggart left, she walked over to James. He was sweating. She put a hand on the side of his face and looked into his brown eyes with concern  "Hey...you okay?"

He smiled slightly "Your death is my worst fear, Lily...you and the baby are my weak spot. Not even my death scares me as much."

She smiled and kissed him, hugging him for a long time. When she finally detached herself from him, he grinned at her cheerfully.

"Are you a dementor, Lily? Because you stole my breath away."

She rolled her eyes "You are so cheesy, James, Oh my God. And dementors take your souls, not your oxygen."

He winked at her "Awh, come on, you love me."

"That's the problem." She grinned back at him.

She walked out of the attic, and only when James sat down next to her on the couch did she realize that he was holding a large book and smiling.

"What is that?" she inquired, peering at the book through his fingers.

"The scrapbook that the marauders gave us for our wedding! It has a bunch of pictures of us at Hogwarts that they took without telling us. Moony made most of it." he chuckled.

She took the scrapbook from his arm and looked at the cover. It was Lily and James, beaming at their older selves, Lily's arm around James' neck and his arm around her waist.

James reached across and flipped the cover. Inside was a moving picture of young James, talking animatedly to young Remus. All of a sudden, there was a sharp red light out of the line of vision of the camera, and a 16 year old Lily was blasted through the air and toppled into James, who was knocked over as well. Lily fell right on top of him, and there was a moment where they just looked at each other, their faces inches apart, blushing terribly. Then he raised his eyebrows and smiled at her, and she got up, angry, and stomped away. The photo was captioned, Fun times in Defense against the Dark Arts.

James laughed. "I remember that. Your friend Marlene did the Expelliarmus thing on you so that you flew in to the air. And landed right on me." He grinned. "Fun." Lily rolled her eyes.
