EDIT: so this was written in 2021 when i was going into my junior year, and now i'm about to go to college, so yeah, this was me back in the day. i am not the same man i was before 😭
my headcanons of atsushi as an atsushi kinnie (2021)
1. atsushi has definitely made his spot in the closet more homey than the average person would. he has cheap string lights and photos along the shelf he sleeps under so when he falls asleep, he sees his colleagues faces.
2. he definitely has a preference for cats. he gets flustered when he gets called a cat related nickname, especially by aqua gwa gwa.
3. if he had tiktok, he would be femboying it up as a dare by dazai, but then actually do it as a way to be in touch with his feminine side.
4. when he reads books he tries to find one with a gender neutral type of main character. the love interest also coincidentally has black hair. hmm 🤨
5. when he listens to cavetown, he's usually in his box that has a sign that says in sloppy writing 'cavetown session: do NOT!!!' enter'. he doesn't want kyouka to see him sad.
6. atsushi has major gender envy from fukuzawa. he doesn't know why, but he speculates it's cause of their matching hair colors.
7. i just feel like my boy got bad dental hygiene so he's missing a molar in his mouth or has a silver tooth or something. kinda badass
8. really wants to hold akuta gwAAAH's! hand. without getting sliced to bits.
9. sometimes atsushi forgets he's legally an adult and goes 'guess i can't see it!' when he goes to see a rated R movie. happens more often than you think.
10. you cannot tell me he doesn't has a diary. he's the type of guy to go 'dear diary' when writingz
11. atsushi they type of guy to respond with 'living the dream' when asked how he's doing.
