The two families rejoiced as the Kim and Jeon family decided to turn their friendship to a something more permanent, to a family... through marriage...

Jin: Jungkook-ssi... we are trusting you with our only sister.... we know she is the only woman you have cared about... and you are the only man she knows... take care of each other...

Jungkook: Hyung... Ill protect her with my life... I will die before anything happens to her... I'll keep her happiness before mine... I promise.....

The older smiled as he proudly handed over his sister to his personal favourite... they were not related...but family didn't end in blood, and it didn't definitely start there either... Jin was always fond of the youngest, loved him more than his own brother Taehyung and his own sister Lia...

Soon everyone was engrossed in the wedding arrangement, the fun and frolic except Lia....who spent her days convincing her brother...

Lia: Oppa.... I don't want to marry him.... how could you even do that without asking me..??

Jin: What? Come on... you both roam around stuck to each other all day... I thought you would be happy...

Lia: WE ARE JUST FRIENDS OPPA...

Jin: Just friends? But Jungkook has no problem with this marriage... and you know he will take care of you... all he sees is you... think about it Lia, its beneficial for the family as well...

Taehyung: Listen to your brother, we only want you to have a happy life...

Lia: You both don't understand....

She expressed her dissent and rushed out from there, she looked around the halls of the mansion searching for this one person whom she believed could solve her problems... when she suddenly felt an arm pulling her inside a room and locking it...

Jungkook: Shh... Its me.... you texted?

Lia: Thank god... I was looking for you everywhere... what is going on? why hasn't anyone told me about this?

Jungkook: Lis... what's the problem? Aren't you happy?

Lia: Of course I am not happy... I don't want to get married...

Jungkook: okay...calm down ... tell me what is it?

Lia: I...I love someone else....

His heart beat shot up... all his excitement died as she spilled those words out of her mouth... he took a deep breath analyzing the situation, he had to think like a friend, not like her one sided lover so he asked her...

Jungkook: Lia... what do you mean someone else...? Is it not me?

Lia: K-kook... do you ... love me?

Jungkook: I do... you are the only girl I've ever known.... you know that too...I love you... I thought you would have figured that by now... silly girl...

Lia: D-did you suggest the marriage?

Jungkook: *giggle* No it was Jin Hyung, and my brother said yes, so I said yes too...not like my consent was going to matter...

She began sobbing as she heard those words... she felt guilty breaking his heart like this... she couldn't imagine a life without her best friend...but she was in love with another and she was headstrong about what she wanted....

Jungkook: Hey hey... stupid girl... we aren't married yet... Come on... I will talk to Jin... do you take me as cruel?

He wiped her tears with his thumbs and smiled warmly at her... giving her all the assurance she needed...

Lia: T-they are not going to agree... please do something...

Jungkook: Ok first... tell me who you are seeing... who is the lucky man... huh?

Lia: I-I c-can't tell you...

Jungkook: *chuckle* what? Lia... how are we going to convince him if you don't tell me... they need to know the guy is as good as me if not better... do I know that guy?

Lia: Y-you d-do...

Jungkook: What?

Lia shook her head, and now Jungkook was sweating bullets, There was no other man of Lia's age in the family friend circle, he started thinking of the time she might have met someone else, and then it struck him it must've been someone from her college, since she wasn't home schooled like most of the boys at home...

Jungkook: It is someone from your college ?

Lia: Y-yeah...he is my senior... Ughh.. Fine.... His name is Jackson....

Jungkook squinted his eyes as she refrained from the details, there was only one Jackson he knew off... and he was sure it couldnt be him

Jungkook: Pretty name... does he have a surname?

Lia: W-W-Wang...?

Jungkook looked at her with his big doe eyes... as he tried to digest what he just heard.... he got up from the seat looking elsewhere when Lia back hugged him crying softly

Jungkook: W-what have you done Lis... please tell me he is not the Jackson Wang we are trying to kill from last 4 missions...

Lia: P-please Jungkook you are the only one who can help me... please I beg of you... don't marry me...

Lia was hugging him tight as she cried, and he took a deep breath trying to understand where his love lacked that Lia had to fall in love with someone from the enemy clan...

Jungkook: L-Lis... Wang's are our enemies..... M-maybe he is just... using you to get to us.....

Lia: Jackson isn't like that....I used to think the same...I swear we both didnt realise our families were enemies.. and when we did he could have used me for his benefit... but he hasn't done anything... I'm right here ... all fine and ok, aren't I?

Jungkook: H-he is playing you Lia... try to understand... Jin will never forgive you....

Lia: Please Jungkook... I cannot.... I'd rather die than...

Jungkook grabbed her by her shoulders jerking her as those words left her mouth... he felt like his whole world crashing on him... the one who he truly loved was in love with another man and that to their enemy, there was no way he could help Lia .. He couldn't go against his brothers, it would be the worse crime... betrayal...

Jungkook: LIS... have you lost it.....

Lia: Only you can help me Jungkook...please....do this for me....

Jungkook: Fine... stop crying... I- I can't see you cry... shush.... Ill try and call off the marriage...but that's all I can do... rest is your problem
