"How about this one?"

A serene voice cut my thoughts. She's holding a two different flowers, a blue rose and on the other hand a tulips. With an arc brow and wide smile, she ask me what should she choose. Well, the both of them are beautiful. Tulips are calming with a touch of orange and yellow while blue rose screams vividness and a stary-night like sky.

I averted my attention to the old lady vendor, wearing a sweet smile, waiting for us. So I spoke and said, "We'll get both."

After handing the money, I noticed her that she's not moving.

"What's wrong?" I asked, did she not like the flowers or ?

"Thank you," with a sweet smile, she continued, "I'm just not expecting that you would get this both." I realised a chuckle before saying, "Why not? Especially when you're giving me that look."

"Yah" a saw her cheeks glow in pink tint, this girl really is something I said.

After roaming around the street, we decided to go and eat since it's already past 5 in the afternoon.

"Bon appetite", after they complete our order, we decided to eat and I noticed how her cheeks get big everytime she chews reminding me of a mandu.

Me and Jennie have been hanging out this past few months. I can say that we got closer within a month. After that comment incident, I decided to ask her if she wants to go out sometimes. Luckily she agreed while me, I'm more than happy. Johnny and the others keep teasing me about her, I thought because they saw us interact in comments, thinking we're like old highschoolers. You can't blame me though, I'm not like Johnny who knows a lot.

"Have you thought about it?" Jennie ask me, "Kinda, I'm still not sure". Nodding she continued, "No pressure Jae, I can always come and help".

I sigh before reaching her hand out, thanking her for being with me this past few weeks. I know I can't always call her since she's also busy in her career but she always insist to come along.

After that night when we go to the beach, I'm driving my way home when I almost got into an accident. I then find myself in hospital bed, besides me is Jennie. With a worried face I asked her what just happened. She didn't want to tell me at first but after the doctor comes in, he told me that I've been diagnosed with anemia. I've been keeping this for a month now to my friends because the last thing I want them to do is to worry. Jennie just happened to be contacted that night.

Good news is that it's not that fatal and can be treated by simple perscription. I just need to follow whatever the doctor ask me and also change my routine like getting a lot of sleep, my eating diet and not overworking myself.

I'm scheduled to go back tomorrow that's why Jennie is assuring me and letting me know that she's always there.

"You already passed the other test, I'm sure you can tomorrow."

"I know, because your presence makes me do it." I told her. Because that's the truth.

She responds with a snicker, "That's the least thing I can do. So from now on, you can always tell."

"We'll see that tomorrow then" , we didn't know that it's already dark outside. Standing up to leave, we went to my car. I told her I'll drive her home.

"What time tomorrow?"

Giving her a quick glance, "I'll pick you at 1 pm." I said.

"You sure?", she contemplates to ask. I respond with a nod, giving her a clear answer.

Few more minutes, we've arrived at her unit. I go out first to open the door for her. "So, I'll see you around", few steps to her door, giving me a warm smile. I smiled and nod. She's about to get in when I catch her wrist, pulling her closer until our body collide. A warmth that I needed before going back.

It lasted for a minute before I pulled out, meeting me with her cat-like eyes that reflects a whole stars and galaxies inside. Home, that what it feels. I enjoyed her company throughout the day. And with one last smile, I wait for her to go inside before I drove myself home.

A day well spent.
