Chuuya makes his way to the enemy organization's hideout which is an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town.
He walks around gathering info on places to escape, signs of life, and places to enter through. The ginger ends up finding footprints around the warehouse and scraps of light peeping through the boarded up windows that show that multiple people have been here recently.
Being the skilled mafioso he is, Chuuya uses his brain and comes up with the genius idea of walking up the side of the building to the window on the roof and peeking through it. Carrying out his plan, the ginger uses his gravity ability and walks up the side of the building, luckily there was no one around to give him weird looks.
Chuuya reaches the top and sneakily steps up to the window, making sure that no one can see him when they look up.
Peeking through, Chuuya compares the info he was given at the start of the mission to what he is seeing now.
Ok so the mission info was 20 females and 40 males with about 7-8 gifted. Chuuya counts the number of people throughout the warehouse. 23 females and 38 males that's pretty close.
Chuuya hops back down and starts to think up a plan on how to retrieve the merchandise he needed. The ginger decides upon just sneaking through a window to take everyone by surprise and attack. He then makes his way over to the window of choice and starts delicately breaking it so it doesn't make too much noise.
Chuuya is busy with his work when he hears something he hasn't heard for four years. This something or shall I say ~someone~ starts prattling on about something or other in his annoyingly loud voice.
"Hat rack? Is that you I see or am I looking at an elementary kid?" Chuuya turns around to see if it really is who he thinks it is and surprise, it is. Dazai Osamu, Chuuya's ex-partner of 4 years and the mafia's demon prodigy turned traitor is standing in front of him.
Chuuya freezes, not knowing what to to say or do. Frankly, frozen because of the rush of emotions running through his small body. Hurt, shock, betrayal, all those feelings but most of all anger.
This bastard has the audacity to stand in front of me and insult me after what he did to me! I looked for him everywhere after he abandoned the Port Mafia and blew up my car. And no he just Insults of me like nothing happened and he didn't abandon me?!
Chuuya starts to feel his eyes fill with tears so he quickly turns away and tries to the best of his ability to ignore the walking menace behind him.
"Hat rack~" Dazai tries, still not getting a reaction from the ginger. "Slug? Chuu-Chuu?" With nothing working, Dazai drops the teasing tone and asks in complete seriousness, "Chuuya?"
This is enough to snap Chuuya out of his thoughts and be able to reply to the waiting brunette, "What do you want, you waste of bandages."
"Is it so wrong to say hi to my former partner?" Dazai asks with that blindingly fake optimism of his.
"Yes," Chuuya replies, "You're annoying me and I'm on a mission right now."
Chuuya still haven't turned around, not ready to face him yet.
"Well, lucky for you I'm on a mission too, so why don't we work together," Dazai teases, "Just like old times right?"
Chuuya just nods, not wanting to interact with the traitor who left home years ago.
He continues to open up an entrance point and climbs in with Dazai following after him.
I'm really sorry this was so short, next chapter will be better I promise. I just wanted to crank this out since I haven't updated a chapter in a while. I'll try to update during the weekend.
Hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful day/night/morning.
