As she sits on the bench, waiting for her bus, she looks around and sees Gojo

She forgot that he's going to be on the same bus with her for the next month, she groans in annoyance

"Hey Utahime~" She gives him a fake smile that makes her look very aggravated

"How was first day?"

"Boring, I wish I had to resolve more problems or do sales instead of doing paperwork" Gojo sighs "Yeah same, but I'm already used to it anyway"

Gojo stopped talking, as he knows that teasing would probably make her mood worse

He made a rule of annoying her until 5:30 hits, then he's gone, so her day doesn't have a sour ending

"So... How was Kyoto?" Gojo asked, trying to remove his boredom as the bus is later than usual "It was fine"

"Paperwork is now practically my whole job, which is just so braindead and boring" Utahime groaned and Gojo looked at her in confusion

When she left the office, she wasn't this annoyed. She was annoyed, of course, because of him, but not that much so he's curious in what happened

"So... anything happened that wasn't boring today?" He asked "Except for resolving problems and the party" Utahime shook her head

"How 'bout none office stuff"

"I honestly just don't want to talk"

"Alright" He looked at her in worry, he wonders if some personal problems occured after office hours

He looks at his phone to look if any roads got blocked because of the snow, and there was, and it blocked their bus, which is why it's late

"The bus might not arrive because of road blockage" Utahime scoffs and mumbles something that he didn't hear

"Alright... I'll just walk" She says before standing up and starting to walk.

She looks behind her and sees Gojo "Why are you following me?" She asks in an annoyed tone "Well our houses are decently close, so I'm just walking home" he responds and Utahime just looked at him in silence

"Ok walk beside me" She gestures him to get closer, and he obliges

That walk in silence for most of the walk before they arrive to her house

"I thought your house was there" she pointed north "Nope... I live there, but I go through a shortcut" He says before waving goodbye and proceeding to leave

He took 3 steps before a pull from his jacket made him stop, he turned around and see Utahime

"You know... You can come in if you want" She says, inviting him "Umm sure, haven't been in Shoko's house in a long time anyway"

As they walk up to the front door, and she knocks, the door opens and it was Shoko with her messy hair. Her face turned to horror

"Why did you invite him but not tell me? I look like a mess!" Shoko complains, making Gojo laugh "It's fine Shoko, nice to meet again" Shoko looks at him in confusion

"Why are you so meek tonight?" Gojo looks at her in surprise "I didn't even notice" Gojo chuckles before she lets them enter

"I'll go to my room, just bring my food" Utahime says before walking to her room and slamming the door

"What's up with her?" Shoko asks before getting a comb "I don't know honestly. I annoyed her a bit, but when she left office she still had a smile" Shoko looks at him intrigued

"I'm a bit worried that something bad happened"

"Wow you're worried" she chuckles "Yeah and can I ask a favor, can you ask her about it?" Shoko looks at him, curious

"Is this really Gojo? Being serious and mature?" Gojo chuckles "I guess it has been a long time" she says before sitting across him

"Yeah I will, but enough about her... How have you been man!" She playfully punches him on the shoulder

"It's actually been amazing, I got the double promotion to branch manager" Shoko gives a light applause "Well how about you?" Shoko sighs

"A lot, I was just a normal doctor at the clinic, now I'm the head like-" They talk for a bit until they eventually ate and gave Utahime her food

A/N: The reason why I didn't update yet was this chapter really made me question if I was characterizing Gojo properly here. So I had to contemplate whether or not I should change it. I've decided not to, for now
